I know a lot of the ATwilightKiss readers are creative. For those who are based in the United States, here’s a fun contest that you may want to consider – the Defining Twilight Writing Contest

I love the concept because you have to mention the following words in your very own Twilight fan fiction, or, you can also attempt an entirely original essay. (I suggest you choose Twilight fan fiction. I think it will be more fun!)

Noble

Sauntered

Inconsequential

Omnipresent

Exiled

Detested

Erratic

Permanence

There are three age categories:

1) age 13 through age 15
2) age 16 through age 18

Each First-Prize winner will receive $500 and a copy of Defining Twilight

My Request for an Excerpt If you win, I would like to request if you can let me know, and maybe, we can post an excerpt here. It would thrill me to bits if an ATK reader won! ;-)

Thanks to BAE for the heads up.

Ach, I think I’d feel a bit foolish entering, as I am way over the age of 19. I think it’s a great contest for anyone preparing for high school finals or college, though. And what a great idea someone had to write an educational book to that end with Twilight and Edward and Bella in mind.
