Will Robert Pattinson Take Over the James Bond Franchise

Several years from now, when the subject comes up of who shall take over the James Bond role after Daniel Craig, I wouldn’t be surprised if Robert Pattinson’s name wouldn’t be thrown into the pot as a possibility.

And, that’s the first thought that popped into my head when I saw Rob at the 2009 Cannes Film Festival about to board a boat.

With the wind slightly billowing his tux and ruffling his hair, and, sporting his famous pout, I can easily imagine Robert Pattinson being a man of action and saying, “Bond. James Bond.” ;-)

And Rob seems to agree, “I leave restaurants in [a] speedboat, like James Bond, it’s cool.”

    Even from that angle, Rob looks hot. I’m glad I looked at your blog before I went to bed, now maybe he’ll show up in my dreams :-) .

    I think he’d be great at playing James Bond!

    I’ve never seen a James Bond movie ..But if Rob stars in one .. I’m definitely watching it :)

    i think he’s abit young to play James Bond as of yet, unless, they are changing their style in JB, as usually, they have kinda old James.

    Oh not now, TeamEdward76. I’m thinking like 6-8 years down the road when Daniel Craig wishes to relinquish the role. :-)

    i personally think that, that would be a bad idea mainly for the fact that we would all so him as vampire bond and not james bond as we are ment to, i just wouldn’t be or look rite….. sorry thats just what i think

    Hmm, now let’s see.. What does it take to be James Bond..
    - a man. yes, Rob is a whole lotta man ;)
    - mysterious. check!
    - good looking. check! (make that “hot as hell”)
    - chick magnet. check! (mm.. yeah, “walking phenomenon”.. the whole reason why we’re here.. “-do I dazzle you? -frequently”.. MOVING ON!)
    - good manners. check! (he’s British, they are BORN polite)
    - charming. check! (major understatement. already proved. see above.)
    - action type. che.. er.. hmm, let’s see.. oh, that’s right, THE MAN CAN’T RUN TO SAVE HIS LIFE! lol. his own castmates make fun of him and call him the worst athlete of them all.
    now don’t get me wrong, I love the way his delicate beautiful long fingers hug a Heineken/Coke can/Marlboro cig (and most likely do ungodly things to KS – yes, I have a very vivid imagination), but I just cannot imagine him making a fist and punching someone, or kicking doors open (bet he’d go “ouch, ouch, bloody door!”), or gently squeezing a Beretta.. LOL

    so yeah, basically Rob would be great as James Bond, but only in the movie stills :)
