Edward-Cullen.net has a very interesting contest. They pose a question that will require you to analyze that profound moment when you hopelessly fell for Edward Cullen
Why did you originally fall in love with Edward Cullen? We want to know! (Yes, you can say you fell in love with Edward because of Rob or because of the books…but tell us why)
But here’s the catch… we DON’T want a typed out boring paragraph. We want creativity. You CAN make graphics (banners, wallpapers, etc), you can write a poem, song lyrics, a short story, or even make videos (please keep any videos under 5 minutes)! You can make almost anything you want….but be sure that whatever you make describes why you originally fell in love with Edward Cullen!

in this day and age wherein chivalry is dead (or in the process of dying), Edward Cullen remains to be one sensitive, protective, humble, selfless man. i think no girl will be able to resist that.

I don’t even know when that exact moment was. I can’t even explain it right. It was just one of those things, you read and you fall in love with a caracter or a story. I think what caught my attention the very first moment was his sarcasm. But then the list when on and on…=D

Aah I don’t know he just has a certain charm that got ne. I just like the way he loves Bella and can do anything for her and I want that for myself too and I think that’s the big reason. There are also a lot of small reasons but to many to even describe really…

have you read this? rob’s funny interview about “diva attitudes”, uncomfortable sex scenes and of course, first love and kstew
(the interviewer got a little gutsy towards the end and ruffled nick’s feathers)

Not with Edward but the actor who portrayed Edward. Whatever emotions, tenderness, selflessness, charms, devotion, etc. was amazingly executed by this young actor.
I’m not a movie buff much more the genre of the film. I have’nt read the book but was fascinated with the film, the beautiful music, stunning views~ with them on top of the trees. I watched the DVD by the influence of members of my family. Never knew about the Twilight world out there.
As I tried to research who Rob is, I found out his amazing sense of humour, self deprecating and wicked at times~~gently executed lines with smiles or laughter that lights up the screen. The audience is mesmerized with his answers, unpedictable with his famous/infamous quotes. With pleasing personality and lovable to look at.
He seems to be a very sensitive young man with good work ethics, dedicated to his craft and very accommodating to his fans~~~Perhaps his way of saying thanks to them. Hoping that his sensitivity doesn’t work against him in his personal life. Looking forward to his future projects !!!!! The evolution of RPattz …..

For me it was when Stephanie convinced me Edward loved Bella in Twilight. It’s not really Edward I love, it’s the love between Bella and Edward. The romance is the real draw for me. If it was not for that it would be “Edward who?”

Edward is a controlling prude who thinks he can do whatever he pleases, a Robert jjust seems like the crude guy who goes out and gets drunk and picks up a few girls on the way.

I read in an article about Kristen’s offcam in New Moon where see said something naughty. I don’t know if it was just a joke or something and I think it was in the New Moon DVD.
Here are some phrases in the article:

I first fell in love with Edward (NOT Rob, but EDWARD) when I first read the books in Summer 2008
Haha, falling in love with a fictional character is not crazy, right? I still remember the EXACT moment that I did.
It was the fateful Port Angeles chapter. Right when he opened the car door.
“Get in.”
-sigh- I fell in love with him RIGHT there.
He’s just so chivalrous and selfless (Although his selflessness and stubborn nature annoyed me and almost made me hate him in New Moon). I just find that he’s perfect because he’s not perfect, you know?
Pros: Romantic, funny (really, he’s just a smart a$$ but I find that attractive), protective, smart, insecure ( I like that he’s not cocky; cocky and confident are two different things), Oh, and the most obvious is he’s DROP DEAD GORGEOUS!
Cons: Stubborn, possessive, an expert liar, and he’s a masochist.
But I love him to death anyway.

At first I was hesitant in reading Twilight. I read the summary and felt that it is too sad for Edward and Bella (the forbidden love and all). But my friends got into it and started quoting from the book so I got curious and bought Twilight right then. I think the exact moment I fell in love with Edward is the morning after Mike, Erik and Tyler asked Bella to the dance. The day Bella swore that she is just gonna ignore Edward, and of course the day Edward asked Bella to ride with him to Seattle. Ahhh. I was gonna list the things I love about him but you guys already beat me to it.
Also, the exact moment I fell in love with Rob is when I heard him sing Let Me Sign. I downloaded the song out of curiousity but the very first time I heard I cried. Yes, I cried over a song. But his beautiful voice made me more intrigued of him so I searched and watched all of the interviews of him that I can find and found his awkwardness endearing, his personality adorable and lovable.
I may be inexperienced with guys, and I know that I have a very high standard when it comes to guys. But one thing is for sure, I will never know or find a guy that will be as amazing as Edward and Rob are.

i fell in love with him when he got out of the car with the raybans on and got the door for bella and then smiled and put his arm around her. Best boyfiend ever.

i actually don’t know… i mean, i watched the movie first, but i can vaguely remember that time. i guess i fell in love with him on the book. he was super sweet and all, and he was caring and protective… hot and cool… and he’s like a walking quote book!

I first fell in love with Edward in Twilight the first night he stayed in Bella’s room (with Bella knowing it). Somehow, I was impressed when he playfully threw Bella onto his couch in his room and still held Bella close when Alice and Jasper walked in.
Of course, I loved him the most in Midnight Sun. How he thought his heart could beat again when Bella said his name in the dream.
