Who Will Kiss Robert Pattinson in Remember Me

Variety reports that Lost starlet Emilie de Ravin will be playing the leading lady of Robert Pattinson in the Summit Entertainment film Remember Me, scheduled to begin shooting on 15 June 2009 under the helm of Allen Coulter

Pattinson plays a young man whose brother’s suicide has split up his parents and left him sleepwalking through life. De Ravin will play a young woman who, after watching her mother get killed before her eyes, seizes life to its fullest.

Currently, Robert Pattinson has already been spotted in the Big Apple, presumably for pre-production.

With Remember Me scheduled for a February 2010 release, the smooch between Robert Pattinson and Emilie de Ravin can be nominated for the Best Kiss golden popcorn trophy at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards

And then Rob can be nominated again for his lip lock with New Moon co-star Kristen Stewart

Robert Pattinson can be nominated twice in the same category! I wonder if anyone has ever done that… ;-)

    thank Goodness, it’s Claire from Lost! i say that with utter relief because I feared for this day, the day they will reveal Rob’s leading lady for Remember Me. God only knows how I wanted it not to be any attractive (cunning) starlet who might sweep him off his feet (and steal his heart ugh which we all believe belong to KStew) Not that Emilie isn’t attractive. She’s adorable and being a Lost follower I like her much. And what’s best here is that she’s…drumrolll….MArried. yes! hahaha. i’m pathetic i know. but i like Emilie for this part. Good choice! And maybe I’m not the only one relieved here, somewhere KStew might be having the best day of her life yet, with this news.

    Lorna, kudos to this wonderful site. I think i’ve been living under a rock not having found this earlier. Your posts (specially the diaries) kept me up late last night. Your assessments of The Robsten are spot on. It’s like you verbalized some stuff I only thought about. and btw, i’m so proud of you because i’m a Filipina too! living in the Phils :)

    lorna, i can’t believe it either. but i did start with the diaries and my favorite of them all is Rob’s take on the Vanity Fair shoot. too funny, so kilig! yup, read that post too about “kilig” LOL.

    about Emilie, i’ve never seen her act aside from Lost where she used her native Australian accent. I’m curious if she’ll be doing the same for Remember Me, or lose the accent. Anyhow, I think she will stand out in any dramatic role. And Rob will benefit from working with her. Not to mention with the awesome Lena Olin too (if indeed she’ll play his mom).

    Interesting that Pierce Brosnan will be playing Rob’s dad. Yay! can you imagine two good looking guys in one frame? sigh

    She’s 28? Wow, she look so young, especially in that picture! Aakkk, I don’t want Rob to kiss any other girl :-) , except for Kristen of course! LOL
