When Is The Twilight Saga New Moon Opening In Your Country

With my foolish assumption that Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince will be shown on 15 July 2009 in my country, the Philippines, which is the official opening date in the United States, and then finding out that it’s actually 16 July 2009, it has made me more attentive to the opening date of The Twilight Saga New Moon
As has been mentioned by Filipino ATK readers, the New Moon poster lists 25 November 2009 as the release date in the Philippines, five days AFTER the US opening. 
I went to IMDB, and here are the release dates for different countries as of 15 July 2009 for The Twilight Saga New Moon

I wonder why some European countries are getting it sooner than here in the US?
I’m gonna try very hard to watch it on the opening day but I doubt I’ll be able to. I’ll probably have to wait so DH can come with me(I’m dragging him) and we gotta find a sitter for DD.

maybe because they dont want it to leak, bec there are a lot of piracy here in PI.. ump… im not surprise with this, its just sad we will see it later than europe and US..
i will have to get a ticket on the opening day!!! fingers crossed

Well in Puerto Rico I’m not really sure. PR is a part of the US, but some movies opens really late…..
For example “17 Again” was supped to open the 17
but it opened on the 24
“Harry Potter” is suppossed to open at the 15 but i’ll open at the 23!!
I hope they don’t do that with new moon.
But some others movies like ice age 3 opened the same day as the US!!!
I hope new moon will open on nov 20!!

i’m french so i guess i’m the luckiest person here
but i can explain why New Moon is opening on the 18th: in France, every movie opens on wednesdays so it’s opening before the us

I am lucky too, 19th November in Hungary.
Just about 4 and half months. 
I remember when the Twilight DVD was released.
My boyfriend has ordered to me for my birthday, but I didn’t know it, he said I got three gifts, two in my birthday, one later, but he didn’t tell me what it was. 4 days later I found a little paper box in our postbox… He ordered me Twilight from the UK. I got it 3 weeks earlier than it released in Hungary. 
So I am glad I don’t have to wait until January or later…

the premier of HP in the Philippines is indeed yesterday lorna. err… saw it in the news. i’ll try to verify to somebody i know if indeed the opening of New Moon will be late here.

yeah… it opens here in the phil on nov 25… it was right there on the poster on glorietta. oh well, it’s just 5 days right? i remember, the twilight movie was shown in japan just feb of this year. that’s 3 months after the whole world! now that must have sucked!
