Unofficial Starcrossed Synopsis from a Twilighter’s Perspective However, it doesn’t mention the romantic fact that the leads want to kill each other, something like what Edward Cullen wanted to do in Twilight, but this time, Bella Swan wants to do the same thing to him. So, for the Twilight Nation, I have rewritten the blurb from a Twilighter’s point of view (with phrases lifted off straight from the book).

However, when she sees new student Lucas Delos for the first time, she feels pure, heart-poisoning hatred and attempts to kill him in the school hallway, right in front of everybody. Thwarted, she looks into his eyes furiously and realizes that he feels exactly the same way about her.

(Okay, a part of me is laughing because when has killing somebody been equated with romantic love? I hope everybody knows fact from fiction!)
