omgg saw it today and loved it the ending is amazing but so wanna find out loved it nd rob nd kris looked sooo cute

  • Marianna Says:

Adorable pic…I bet Lorna you’re the one with the curly hair and the brown T-shirt and that beautiful Louis Vuitton bag.I went with my boyfriend to watch the movie and he fell asleep…men…I should have gone with my friends too!I felt that the Italy scene could have been better, more passionate and I liked how C.Weitz depicted Bella’s depression with her sitting at the window watching the seasons pass.

  • VOTEFORROB Says:

the movie was good, it was more for a Team Jacob fan but good as well for a Team Edward fan like myself.. if i had to pick a favorite i would say Twilight

  • guinevere Says:

Italy scene didn’t disappoint! And the ending scene… When I thought that the movie’s climax was over, it builds up again at the end. :D

Love the look and feel of the movie. If there’s one thing I need to see more, it’s Rob having to smile often. But maybe it goes with his mood in NM. Maybe we’ll see him laugh more in Eclipse. :D

  • alba gutierrez Says:

the movie was great ,it was exiting cause all my family was there at 12.01 am ,and in mexico it was you know well,…people talking and asking for blood, but anyway…. i love the movie, only
i expect more romance, you know robsten romance
and the scene from volterra you know mmmjust a few seconds..just a little kiss ..not enough.,not
    enough.but from 1 to 10 i give a 12 lol .
i think i.m to close to the books. but anyway
    robsten forever. bye
    lorna have a gooood trip.

  • Muthamedia Says:

Underwhelming! Lacked the overal enchantment of Twilight. The Italy events were the best part of the movie. It was funny in parts that should not have been funny and the funny parts were just ok. The movie did not flow – it was more like a Powerpoint presentation. I hope Slade knows WTH he is doing with Eclipse.

  • twilightrulez21 Says:

i’m so sad.. I COULDN’T GO!!i sprained my ankle and my dad said i couldn’t go.. not fair

  • blahblah Says:

i think the trailers + the mini clips ruined it for me. I mean, those were the main events/climax on the film and i already knew it before watching the film so i was not thrilled anymore. and it was full of cuts, i think the editing was not that good. from my point it was not continuous, not smooth unlike twilight. + the soundtrack, it’s not my type, they dont fit the scene in which they were played.. the romantic scenes were lame and flat. im not even convince with the proposal thing at the end because of the setting. why was it done right after the fight between jacob and edward(w/c was not in the book) and was set in the forest? the romantic mood fell short, it’s not even there. im sorry, im a fan of the saga as much as you guys are, but it’s really disappointing.

  • Christine Margarette Says:

im so sad. it definitely disappointed me. especially the ending scene. NABITIN ako! :(

  • TeamEdward101 Says:

OME I just saw it and IM freaking out!!!! AHH! OME the end was SO cliffhanging!!!!

  • Ana Lisbeth Says:

I haven’t seen it yet…bcuz my country aparently doesn’t know the meanin of WORLDWIDE….becuz i have to wait till December 25 to see it…

  • lila999 Says:

    OMG!!! best movie ever!!!!!!!!
    totally love edward!!!!!!!
    but jacob´s sweet tooo!
i want to watch the movie again!!

  • izzy Says:

    yes yes yes
it is exactly what i hoped it would be, i stayed up to 12 a.m to watch it and it was worth it. i cried during the scene of “good bye” D: and i was like :O a lot during the movie. i was told to “shut up!!!” many times e.e

    did you like it?

  • Rach Says:

Loved it so much. I only wish it was longer. It seemed a bit rushed. I loved the way they had her talking to Alice through the whole movie while the Cullens were gone. Made me cry since she was missing Alice too. Loved it, loved it, loved it.

  • Chi Says:

It was a great movie! I’ll watch it again and again in the theater! The ending is what I like most! LOL!

Lorna, Jing and Pearl: I had a great time watching NM because of your company. and the dinner was fabulous too.

  • blahblah Says:

oh btw, i think only rachelle lefevre and michael sheen played well in the movie. it’s for me, pls dont hate me for this. rachelle’s part was good, love her. i think only her can play victoria that good. fierce, cat-like, with conviction. oh i think jackson played jasper very well also. i love kstew but i did not see her cry even once, even a single teardrop though she’s still great on some parts. rob’s acting is so much better in twilight, he had no emotions in new moon and his voice, i can’t even understand a single thing he said. he’s whispering all throughout the movie.

  • Jazzzz Says:

    I Loveed it…!
    I loved everything about it…!
Im a Team Edward fan and normally hate Jacob but he was sooo sweet in the movie, untill he turned into a wolf I wanted to slap him after that…!
It was weird because my dad said i had to go with him if was going to watch it…! Soooo you no the scene with the Vortoli.. Rob looked like he had no clothes on and his pants were pulled down sooo far…! I thought it was HOTT but then it got all akward when i looked at my Dad and he looked at me like what the heck is this..! Emarassing..!

  • bianca Says:

i absolutly LOVED IT!!! i think everyone did better on this one…and everyone looks absolutly beautiful in this movie (xcept 4 wen bella wuz having her depression moment) i truely wanted so badly 2 cry…i also had goosebumps throughout the movie…EDWARD IS HOTT!!! i hated jacob…such a jerk…nice bod nd all but still…>.< TEAM EDWARD/ROBERT ALWAYS ND FOREVER!!! <3<3<3

  • leadee Says:

I cried while watching the break up scene.. I still don’t like the wolves.. They’re so boring.. Kristen did an amazing job.. I love the reunion scene and all the E/B scenes… Can’t wait for Eclipse..

  • ayu Says:

its awesome!i don’t know how that criticze say its awful!maybe they were blind lol!and guys did you guys see the RM trailer??its awful!robert’s did great!but the sad thing the intimade scene with emilie!yes they have sex!*hiks*curse you emilie!well at least rob say he never felt any passionate kiss with her (emilie) in haper bazzar magazine!go robsten!trash emilie to the hall down way!lol

  • Tahira Says:

Aaaaaah It was awesome. I just loved it. Kristen dud a super good job. I had to cry during the break up scene. I loved the funny scenes. And I really loved all the Ed/Bella scenes!!!! I loved the vision Alice gives aro of Bella being a vampire running with edward in the forest. Loved the volturi and the werewolves were good. But the ending was good beacause now I can’t wait for eclipse!!!! I will see new moon again and again and again!

  • :D Says:

Saw it yesterday night and loved it! thought it was so much better than twilight film because they actually showed some humour like there is in the book. However there were bits that kept making me laugh when it wasn’t meant to be funny.. just the facial expressions of rob when he was about to kiss kristen cracked me up. then the vision was quite amusing too. really want to watch it again :) it was awesome!

  • Joey Says:

Just read all the comments and judging from the comments I don’t know what to expect from the film! Im going to be watching it in 2 weeks or so (it only comes out on 3rd Dec here) and I hope it will be good! Will be looking forward to the Volturi scene and I don’t know how I feel about the end, the cliffhanger? From the sound of it Im not really liking it, since its totally different from the book. Ahhh… hope it’s good.

  • 827pm-theresah Says:

im not really a huge fan of the whole twilight saga but i did watch the films when it came out and read the books too, caught new moon just today and although not a fan, i felt it was still good. it seemed to satisfy the fans in that showing, i saw a couple of girls crying and i also noticed a guy a few seats down whose eyes were totally glued to the screen. i felt that the best scene for me had to be italy scene and the funny moments were well, in my opinion kinda forced, but still alright. i didn’t like the end of the film…… it’s going off track from the saga and yes i felt too that rachelle did a great job as victoria.

  • Rita Says:

I actually didn’t have the chance to see it, since in my country it only comes out in next Friday (November 26th).
But now, I’m a little afraid I’ll be disappointed, since so many comments in here said that it was a disappointing movie, and Chris Weitz did a bad job. I hope I still can enjoy the Italian scenes :)
By the way, I love your site. Visit it everyday. Keep up the good job, Lorna ;)

  • edbells... Says:

I want to hear the words that exist in the book at the cliff scene.. And of course, “Without you bella, my life was …..” paragraph at Bella’a bedroom!
    And less Jacob..

But the Volturi scene was AMAZING I think.. “You don’t know anything about his soul!” OMG! I love you Bella (L)

  • Chelsea Says:

I’ve watch it twice and Cris W. really did a great job, the last scene is so intriguing and it really builds up the mood for eclipse..Kristen is really a great actress I felt bella’s pain when edward leaves, correct me if Im wrong I didnt see a tear in her but all the shouting its just enough to feel what she felt…so intense emotions. If your a team jacob ur going to love Newmoon but if ur team edward you would go for twilight…I’ll go for twilight

  • TwiCrazee Says:

I saw it last night and I loved it! I think it was better than Twilight! (If that’s possible) I like that New Moon was ‘Deeper’ but also had some laughs in it!!

I really liked the depression scene when the monts were going by and Bella was just sitting in her room…

I wish they would have done more with Bella, Edward, and Alice waiting for nightfall in Volterra, I am glad they put part of it in there tho!

They all did a GREAT job IMO!

  • Milloo Says:

I want to go back and watch it again but my boyfriend don’t… don”t care i’m gonna go all by my self!! The movie is so much better than the book!

  • Laura Says:

Overall I’m happy with the movie but I have to say that I was expecting a bit more, I agree with Twicrazee I wish they would have done more with Bella, Edward and Alice waiting for the nightfall in Voltera. And also I wish they had done a bit more when Edward and Bella talk in her room after they come back from Italie (I always thought that moment was cute and important to understand why Edward had left). I thought it was cool to see Edward in Brazil when he calls and Alice’s vision of Bella as a vampire with Edward though.

  • Melissa In Missouri Says:

I think that CW did a very good job. A movie can never be just like the book, or please every critic, but as a whole I think it was a great job. The sounddtrack, I am sad to say was the most disapointing part! I was just put off by it. I also enjoy the fact that the parts in the movie that were clearly not in the book only added to the movie, instead of changing the content of it! I am sold, I love it like I love Twilight, and cant wait to see it again!!!

  • Alexx Says:

i absolutely loved it! think i may have to go again to see it haha. i oculdn’t wait and skipped part of school for it lmao but the only thing that bugged me was how quite a few bits were missed out or shortened, i know it’s a film and it can’t be all right but still lol. i think it looked so much better and refined than the first one. the countdown until eclipse starts now though :D x

  • muthamedia Says:

One more thing……..worse than the movie….the soundtrack! Nothing can compare to the ST from Twilight, but this was non-existent and just overall, B A D! SRY!

  • leticia Says:

hey hey i absolutely loved it i went with my two friends and it was amazing ……… i cried at the start of the movie and at the break up scene one of my other friend started crying when jacob said he didnt want to be friends with bella
but over all it was amazing and if i had to vote between 1 and 10 i would have to say a thousand and iam not joking
    x

  • Andrea Says:

went to see the movie with friends. we have to queue from 10AM to get tickets for 17.30PM screening. it was crowded!
to be honest, I haven’t really finish reading the book, I found it ‘too depressing’ I thought I’m going to cry through the movie >.< I didn't tho, that doesn't mean that the movie is bad or anything. it is just 'less depressing'. some parts are funny, like the part when they watch Romeo & Juliet.
I'm not Team Jacob, I go for Twilight, but I will go back for New Moon again =)

  • tata Says:

    Loved it.

  • Tegan Says:

Kristen Stewart carried the whole movie. It was incredibly cheesy, far less indie than Twilight. The soundtrack was great, but they gave the underwater/cliff diving scene the wrong song. Alice’s vision was AWFUL. sorry, but it was. I couldn’t even watch, I just lowered my head. Taylor was really good at times, and bad at others. Rob had some super corny lines, but has a lot of potential. The humans (school friends, charlie & harry) were excellent! But in the end, Kristen Stewart is the only thing offering the franchise consistent, raw talent and credibility!

  • twilight Says:

Thanks so much everybody for sharing your thoughts and opinions!

And, Marianna, you’re absolutely right as to who I am in the pic, however, I must credit the Vuitton bag to ATK reader Chi (second from L), for I am woefully ignorant about designer labels and such, although I do enjoy watching fashion.

  • Kara Says:

OMG! New Moon was amazing! when they said that it was going to stay true to the book as much as possible, they weren’t lying. I loved it, it was a lot better than i thought it would be, i mean i knew it was going to be good, but wow. Taylor launter was great, and so robert pattinson especially in the break up scene. Kristen stewart was unbelievable(in a good way) too, she was definetly much more comfortable in this film. I’m going to see it again tomorrow and i’m dragging my mum along with me this time. Lol.

  • Ana =D Says:

I just watched it,online, and it was AMAZING,FABULOUS,GREAT,AWESOME,like OMG,I cried,I smiled,I was pissed of,lol, there are some parts that might have been better but I love it,especially Italy and the Volturies and the end,the beginning, and that scene in Emily’s house,so funny, and Mike was funny, loved Alice,Emmett when they voted, when he hugs her and lifts her up,Jazz when he said he would like not to want to kill her all the time,I was like awww :)
Loved it so much,it was very close to the book, and I love that about it too.And Aro,when he laughs, and OF COURSE,the reunion scene, its very close to the book, lines they say,I love when Edward smiles when he sees she is alive…
okay I could go like this till tomorrow, anyways LOVED IT,can’t wait to see Eclipse, lol :D

  • Antonia Cullen Says:

IT WAS GREAT, BEAUTIFUL, PERFECT!!!!! I CAN’T FOR ECLIPSE NOW!!!! I WATCHED IT TWO TIMES ALREADY!!!! TEAM EDWARD!!!!! “MARRY ME, BELLA.” THAT WAS BEAUTIFUL TO LISTEN/SEE.

  • Shayyy Says:

OMFG!I just got home from seeing it! SPOILER ALERT! SPOILER ALERT! I lov the cliffhanger ending…:

    “Give me 5 years.”- Edward

    “No.”-Bella

    “Three years.”-Edward

    “Nope.”-Bella

    “Well, I’ll change you…with one condition…”
    -Edward

    “…What’s the condition…?” – Bella
    “Marry me, Bella.” – Edward
“*CHOCKS ON AIR AND GASPS*” – Bella

    THE END!!!

The one thing I don’t get about the cliffhangr ending….wht would Eclipse start of like..
Wuld it start right from there so Bella can tell Edward tht she’s only 18 and she’ll think about it? Or will it start normally then eventually get to Bella saying that…?

    IM CONFUSED!!

P.S I also love at the beginning on Bella’s birthday when she’s like:

    “I’m older thn u.” -Bella

    “Im 109, teqnically.” – Edward

“Well, the mabey I shouldnt be going out with such an old man, it’s gross.” – Bella, (sarcasticly)

LOL! Srry 4 writing so much!!

  • Shayyy Says:

SORRY! I forgot to add that Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner, Billy Burke and Micheal Sheen were AMAZING! Especially Kristen, she held the WHOLE movie. No offence, but Robert was only a little bit better in New Moon than in Twilight, he still acted to badly. Srry Rob lovers!~

  • Char Says:

I loved Jacob and Bella’s chemistry! I think Taylor Lautner did such a great job! You really feel bad for the kid! I loved when Bella says: “No, it’s a Jacob thing”.

The editing could have been better and it was really hard to watch Alice’s vision of vampire-Bella and Edward frolicking in the woods but I’ve already seen it twice and I love it!

I loved the “months” scene, where Bella’s just sitting in her chair and time passes her by! And I loved Bella’s letter’s to Alice…I really enjoyed seeing the Bella-Alice relationship too! =D

It also ended perfectly! Bella gasps!

I can’t wait to go see it again! and I can’t wait for the DVD and all the deleted scenes and commentary! I’ll probably have to order one from the States or Canada again because they don’t have commentary on the DVDs released here in the Philippines!

  • twitarted23 Says:

OME!!!!! I just saw it and i fell in love!!! The only thing that sucked wuz the ending and wats with the fight scene at the end between Edward and Jake?? that confused me!!! All in all i LOVED it!!!

  • liess Says:

I loved it sooo much, but it was more of a comedy than a deppressing movie which it was made out to be. the ending absolutely sucked. i think it ruined the whole movie for me. the music was corney the script was too brief and the scene wasnt right. it made it look like a quick thought but in the book it seemed like edward had been thinking about it for ages. edward also got some really corny lines too. it was pretty retarded.
billy burke was a star. i recon he delivered his lines perfectly hahaha. Kristen did do a better job of bella this time, but i didnt see much pain in the movie. it all seemed pretty happy and funny actually.
I’m still going to see the movie every week untill its out on dvd though :D :D :D

  • Lu Says:

Here are a few of my thoughts.

OK, I actually liked the special effects, the wolves were vicious!

I loved all of the slow motion scenes, Victoria running and being chased by the wolves, Bella running through Italy to stop Edward at the clock, the fighting scenes with the Volturi.

    Jacob is RIPPED! W-O-W.

Bella and Edwards kissing scenes were pretty hot. They kissed like they were just about to rip each others clothes off…yet it was just kissing.

I loved Mike’s line when he is trying to ask Bella to a movie “…now that you’re talking and eating again…gotta get that protein into you (punches her shoulder).” That was too cute.

Alice’s vision of Bella as a vampire was kind of corny only because Edward was “prancing” through the woods. Everyone in the theater was laughing. Bella looked cool as a vampire though.

I LOVED the additions to the movie that were not in the book such as HOW Harry had the heart attack (nearly being killed by Victoria), Bella actually taking a quick ride with the stranger on the motorcyle, seeing Victoria up in the trees and in the water, the end scene where Edward shoves Jacob away because he is being protective and Jacob gets mad and turns into the wolf.

Not sure about the cliff-hanger ending. Those who read the book will know that they don’t get engaged immediately and those who haven’t read it may think it’s a stupid ending. It was a dramatic ending though.

I liked it a lot and CAN’T WAIT for the next one! Respond to my to my comment by my name (”Lu”) if you agree or disagree, I love to hear others points of view.

    Lu

  • janis Says:

I love it but New Moon is so technical, no emotions at all. In the book the cliff scene was so emotional remember the last words were i love you to edward. i was expecting that but instead its so technical they just let bella dive finish. I love the volturi part.

But come to thinks of it among the four books new moon was my least favorite.

I regret so much watching those clips it really spoiled the movie.

  • robstenforever Says:

the bonding of jacob and bella wasnt long enough, and the volterra scene! they didnt kiss on the steps. :(

  • robstenfan Says:

Definetely, team Kristen!!! I’ve just fallen in love with her acting. Beyond what I expected!!!! The relationship between Bella and Jacob was very believable. Didn’t like Edward too much as I did in twilight. Maybe because he was not the star this time. I would like to see more passion between Bella and Edward. It was like how Robert and Kristen behave off-screen, too careful. According to Eclipse, Bella becomes more passionate as well as Edward, who loses her fear of wanting to kill her as it was very painful for him having thought she was dead. The whole was good, particularly the break up scenes and Italy. Can’t wait for Eclipse

  • Shamma Says:

I was speechless from beginning to end… I’ve told my mother I’m going to watch it again. Absolutely gobsmacked.

  • Jane Says:

I saw it 4 times and LOVED it! I would see it again as well. Kristen was awesome, especially in the scene where the months pass by, truly emotional and heartbreaking. Rob was really good too (didn’t see him enough though) and Taylor like WOW he was sensational with everything, what more can I say…. just freaking brillant. The soundtrack is amazing and suites the moments in the film perfectly. I loved it all. I want the DVD NOW!! Can’t wait for Eclipse!! Btw, Kristen you are half Aussie right? well, come and holiday here, we’ll give those Paps a time they’ll never forget if they try to mess with you :)

  • Loreley Says:

@muthamedia, I’m SO with you.. NM was so bad.. :( I’m beyond disappointed.
It took this gigantic disaster for me (and other people) to really appreciate CH’s work in Twilight. She gave us a low budget indie that yet had SO much passion to it, and now for an over the top budget we get this load of s—t.
Even the chemistry betwen Rob and Kris was NON-present. Hey, maybe it’s true what they say on Friends: Hot on stage – just friends in real life. Cold as a fish acting – lovers undercover. And yeah, it was fucking freeeezing betwen these two. The Bella/Jacob moments were much more believable.
Btw Taylor surprised the shit out of me, that kid CAN act. Huff. And he is walking candy on a stick. Huff again.
He and Kristen’s beautiful face and powerful expressions were the only things that kept me on my seat for 2hrs..
By this point, I’m cringing at the thought of Eclipse coming out.

  • Angela Says:

I love Twilight, and I loved New Moon… but there were a few things that I found disappointing…
    1. The Composer sucked, I think it would have been heaps better to keep the same music as from Twilight.
    2. The vamps looked too different, not as pale, Jasper looked horrible.
    3. The vision of Bella as a vamp was a joke… why couldn’t they have shown her laying in the meadow with edward and they’re both glittering? or show her munching on a deer or something.
    4. Alice’s clothes were horrible
    5. The meadow was completely different than in Twilight.
    6. They should have shown Rosalie telling Edward about Bella.
Ok… in saying all that it must sound like I hated the movie, which I didn’t. I’ve already seen it twice, plan to see it again at the cinemas and will buy it on dvd the day it’s released… I spose I just wanted a bit more consistancy and closer to the book. Can’t wait to see what happens in Eclipse!

  • brittanie coffey Says:
