Twilight TV Series Coming Soon?

Casually, my housemate asked if The Vampire Diaries were like True Blood. My response was, “Yes, but more sane. Much more.”
I was referring to the fact that the storylines of the TV episodes of The Vampire Diaries were somehow rooted in a reality that I could relate to, making me easily become a fan.
Thus, I became curious what were the changes between the books and the TV scripts. Since the unabridged version of The Awakening by L.J. Smith is available on The Vampire Diaries Season 1 DVD set, I listened to the audiobooks and found out how radically different the TV adaptation was from the books.
That made me think. After The Twilight Saga movies have been released, a Twilight TV series is very much possible, based on the books and yet with a different twist to it so as to hook fans all over again.

Oh that would be so awesome. We could see Edward en Bella again but in à different storyline. Oh that would be fun.

Yup agree, with a different storyline, different plot, different writers, different cast, maybe keep Jackson Rathbone, Kristen Stewart, and the Volturi cast, not the rest. If they were to do a Twilight TV series, it has to be a whole different change, who would want to see the whole Twilight saga as a TV series? If it does come out as a way just to satisfy fans, give me a knife, I would stab myself.
