Peter Facinelli A second vehicular incident in New York City almost finished off another Twilight star. On 17 July 2009, Twilight dad Peter Facinelli related a near fatal accident via his twitter account.

The phrase “kill the Twilight cast” is in reference to the cab incident that could have brought Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson to the hospital.

Elizabeth Reaser New York City has played host to a number of the Twilight cast members during the same period of the Remember Me pre-production and filming.

Robert Pattinson reportedly hung out with Twilight mom, Elizabeth Reaser, in New York pub Bowery Bar on 10 June 2009 before Remember Me filming commenced.

Jackson Rathbone and Edi Gathegi Cullen family member Jackson Rathbone, together with Twilight baddie Edi Gathegi, were in the Big Apple on 27 June 2009 to participate in a benefit project for Word Theatre, which seeks “to celebrate the oral storytelling tradition with world-class authors and actors.” They both read stories with other respected actors from TV, film and theatre.

Hopefully, none of the Twilight stars met any untoward almost accident in New York City that we didn’t know about. With two stars having experienced an almost vehicular accident, it makes one very superstitious about numbers and location, especially if you add the fact that New York has been the scene of a number of film accidents in 2009. And it’s only July.
