Twilight saga author Stephenie Meyer astounds with her assessment regarding the probable non-existence of books without music, “Music is always really important. I think, maybe…[the books] wouldn’t be written if I didn’t have music to keep me going.”
Stephenie explains further in the Unscripted Moviefone bonus segment how music helps her focus, “I can’t concentrate unless I’ve got something really loud in the background.”
In the books’ Acknowledgments, Stephenie Meyer has thanked the bands that have helped her with the creative process. In particular — Muse — has been thanked profusely as “rock gods” who “create my favorite writing music.”
