Thoughts on the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart Eclipse DVD Commentary

Thankfully, this time around, the Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart commentary was included in the The Twilight Saga Eclipse Philippine DVD. I have just finished listening to the Twilight couple and there are three things apparent to me:
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart exist in their own little Robsten bubble. I’m glad Taylor Lautner was not part of The Twilight Saga Eclipse DVD commentary, because he would be the proverbial third wheel in the presence of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. Kudos to Taylor for handling the publicity events so well when Rob and Kristen are so joined at the hip, laughing and giggling at their private jokes and having little discussions cum arguments.
Robert Pattinson is a very jealous and possessive man. Almost every scene that required Kristen Stewart to be with a shirtless Taylor Lautner or members of the wolf pack had Rob bristling with some put down of some sort or a statement to ridicule the scene.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart disagree with David Slade a lot. Unfortunately, I think the rumors of Rob and Kristen “disliking” their Eclipse director has some basis in truth. Aside from the constant derisive wig comments from Rob, there’s Kristen with a couple of stories such as disagreeing with David’s direction that the sleeping Bella Swan may be unconsciously listening to the conversation between Jacob Black and Edward Cullen during the tent scene.

they are indeed in their own bubble. seems to me like a normal phone conversation for them. agree to all your observation. hope we can watch it together. still waiting for the philippine release of the DVD!

I have to wait to see Eclipse ;[ as someone is buying it for Christmas <3 But you can never have to many eclipse Dvds!

I watched the commentary with K and R today, and Rob really has issues with the Jacob/Taylor portions of the movie! :^) There is a part, however that is charming….When Bella is at Sam and Emily’s house, the banter between Rob and Kristen is touching on how she wouldnt like it if he hung around shirtless women all the time. But whats cute is that he is not speaking in “Edward/Bella” tense, as he does most of the commentary. He is talking directly to Kristen, and says “YOU wouldn’t like it!” waaay adorable! :^)

I’ve bought my DVD yesterday, and I’ve watched the movie.(Shame on me: it was the first time I watched it, because I was ill, when the movie came out…
)
And I absolutely agree with Rob and Kristen. I do not explain exactly what the problem was with the director, but this movie – altough I liked it – was a little bit… weird.
