The Twilight Saga Meets True Blood or Harry Potter Fan Fiction Challenge

It does NOT have to be True Blood or the Harry Potter series. As long as it’s considered Young Adult fiction, then you may use the characters from that particular book or series for the fan fiction challenge from Novel Novice Twilight
The Challenge:
For the Sept-Oct 2009 Fan Fiction Challenge: write a story about any of the Twilight characters meeting a character or characters from another popular young adult series (such as Harry Potter, Uglies, Vampire Diaries, Blue Bloods, His Dark Materials, etc. Other books or series are okay, too!)
Use your imagination & be creative!
The Prizes:
1st & 2nd place: Winners will receive a set of The Mortal Instruments books and a poster signed by author Cassandra Clare.
3rd place: Winner will receive a Mortal Instruments poster signed by Cassandra Clare.
All of our winners (1st, 2nd, 3rd & runners-up) will also get an awesome graphic banner to post with their stories, in addition to having their work posted right here on NNT!

The Rules:
* Stories must use proper grammar & spelling; any stories with frequent grammatical & spelling errors will be automatically disqualified.
* Stories should be at least 500 words long.
* For this challenge, you are allowed to break canon in order to work in your crossover subject
* Please keep the content of your story to PG-13 or lower rating.
* When e-mailing your story submission, you must attach the story as a Word document (.doc) or Text file (.txt).
* With your story, please include a title and your author’s name.
* For this challenge, you may only submit one story.
* Anyone is welcome to enter the contest, but please note: we can only send prizes to people living within the United States. Sorry.How to Enter:
E-mail all entries to sara.novelnovice@comcast.net as a Microsoft Word (.doc) or plain text (.txt) attachment.
Do not paste your story into the body of an e-mail. Please use an attachment.
Don’t forget to include your author’s name and title of your story.
Deadline:
All entries are due by midnight (PST) on Saturday, October 31st.

Hey Alexx. Anybody can join. It’s just that if you win, they won’t be able to send the prize to you since you live outside the US. But, like I suggested before, just ask a friend or relative based in the US to receive it for you. GO FOR IT!!!

Seems like quite a few xbox enthusiasts here, I am a fan also and enjoy to play video games… my girl says I play too much, but man it’s so enjoyable. I’ve been playing cod: modern warfare 2 and halo 3 for weeks and can’t quit! What would you gamers recommend? In any case, looks like a cool site, is this wordpress? I’ve made a few pages myself and it’s not easy. Thanks for taking time to post this up.

I adore true blood!!! Season threes is freaking me out. When Sam had that nightmare of getting with with Bill I screamed! What’s up with that vamp queen anyways? Kind of weird huh? I hope Eric doesn’t really work with her. My favorite show on television for sure!
