The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1 DVD Party by Astroplus and Astrovision
The Robert Pattinson and Reese Witherspoon Synergy I found it amusing that, completely by chance, the Breaking Dawn Part 1 DVD booth was right beside the poster of the current film of Robert Pattinson’s Water for Elephants co-star, Reese Witherspoon — This Means War.
Breaking Dawn Part 1 Character Standees Bella Swan, Edward Cullen and Jacob Black standees were put in a private little corner of the Ayala TriNoma Park during a Breaking Dawn Part 1 DVD party hosted by Astroplus and Astrovision last 17 February 2012.
Romantic Wedding Aisle Potted white flowers lined the romantic wedding aisle that led straight to the “altar” where Bella Swan and Edward Cullen cuddled together.
Romantic Flower Arch A beautiful flower arch framed the romantic Breaking Dawn couple looking lovingly into each other’s eyes. This was a favorite spot for Twilighters to take pictures, although Bella Swan was sometimes covered by overzealous Edward Cullen fans.
Romantic Ambience of the Ayala TriNoma Park The Astroplus and Astrovision management was so committed to creating the ambience of the Breaking Dawn wedding scene that strings of white flowers were even hung onstage, where a TV screen showed a preview of the special features in The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1 DVD (Eclipse was screened while people waited).
Moreover, TGI Friday’s sponsored light snacks (nachos, chicken fingers and iced tea). There was also a raffle of Breaking Dawn memorabilia that included Bella’s comb and engagement ring (I won an Edward Cullen bookmark!).
It was a beautiful event, with the night sky overhead, white flowers contrasting against the dark silhouettes of the park’s shrubbery and fountains bubbling in the background. The only fly in the ointment was the light rain (ambon) that came near the end, which caused the event to be cut short (it was announced that the DVD party the next night will be indoors, which made me so ecstatic that I went on Friday instead of Saturday).
At the end, I had to go and thank the marketing manager for The Twilight Saga Breaking Dawn Part 1 DVD party. The DVD purchase from Astroplus or Astrovision was bundled with so many goodies, from the Part 2 premiere ticket to the discount to the DVD party, that it can only be deemed a truly excellent buy. Thank you!
