The Twilight Saga as a Broadway Musical

Before you totally dismiss it as totally preposterous, consider these two unlikely musicals — one currently showing while the other is in pre-production stage.

The epic The Lord of the Rings has been condensed into an estimated three hour musical on London’s West End.

Comic book hero Spiderman will be singing and slinging his web into the Great White Way in a musical, a fact that How I Met Your Mother star and 2009 Tony Awards master of ceremonies Neil Patrick Harris was quick to point out when asked about the possibility of a musical version of The Twilight Saga

“You know one day they’ll probably do a Twilight musical. That will happen. I’m sure it will—they’re doing Spider-Man the Musical.”

    imagine if it did become a musical and all the actors that were in the movie also star in the musical! i dont know what i would think of that… :S but i think it would be wierd if they made it into a musical. i mean… can you actually imagine bella and edward singing a love duet?? =]

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAH NO.

    That will wreck the WHOLE meaning of The Twilight Saga. Imagine Edward Cullen emerging from nowhere and starts singing. SRSLY?!?!? NO. JUST N.O. Please, please PLEASE don’t turn it into some Broadway spectacular with the people clapping and people dancing *shudders at the thought* Just give us the book into a movie and I will not stick my head into a blender. End communication.

    i’m a sucker for musicals and i love twilight but if you put them together…that’ll make one big mess….
    i say no..
