A Twilight Kiss

A Fictitious Entry that Chronicles the Thirst of Robert Pattinson aka Edward Cullen for Kristen Stewart aka Bella Swan

In my innocent ignorance, I did not know that I was being consumed even as I devoured her.

I gripped her skull between the palms of my hands, clamping her face to forced stillness so that I could run my lips all over her creamy smooth skin, before giving teasing little bites at the corners of her mouth, and then comforting the inflamed skin with nibbling lips.

I caught her lower pout between my own and sucked it voraciously before giving the same attention to its upper counterpart. My tongue flicked the swelling flesh soothingly, before retreating and letting my hungry lips once again take over.

I could have spent an eternity feasting on her alone. I alternately sucked, gnawed and sipped from her pink softness. I observed with masculine satisfaction as they turned red from my sensual attention.

And then I ventured into her inner recesses and recoiled. A primitive sense of territorial instinct realized a fact furiously.

There have been other men before me that day. The knowledge filled me with a primitive rage and the need to stamp out any remains of those before me. I became a primal male with the desire to destroy and to conquer.

While my lips punished the irrational transgression with my kisses, I slid my hands down, possessively running them all over her, craving to eradicate the memories of the others with my touch. Her instinctive response to reject my claim brought out my aggression even more.

I grabbed her by the waist to haul her petite form to mold against me. Unsatisfied, I captured her thigh and circled it around my hip, endangering her with further destruction.

Or was it mine?

I did not withhold the fury of my sensual attack, repetitively seizing her lips in an oval suction before forcing her wide open with my darting viper of a tongue while my groin undulated forcefully against her.

A fragment of sanity called out to me to halt this madness, but, I viciously thrust it aside. Yet it continued to screech at me, until its primordial caterwauling made me aware of my own danger, which resulted in another basic response.

Fear.

Was she the mythological being that the Twilight script had called for? Was she in truth a vampire who had cloaked herself in the guise of a human? If she were, it would explain this bewildering response that I have never experienced in my whole existence. She brought out something in me that was both frightening and exhilarating.

Earlier, when Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke had instructed Kristen and I to “make out” on her bed, it filled me with a petrifying fear that was soon overtaken by a heady rush of pulsating desire.

Now, the testosterone battled to supply both the sensuality and aggression, while adrenaline pumped through my body, readying it for flight from the shot of fear. The surge of emotions frightened me.

I could barely hear Catherine for the blood pounding in my ears. Then it somewhat registered that she had called out ‘Cut!’

Trembling, I released Kristen and struggled for a semblance of composure. Both of us listened to her saying, “You went really wild there. You have to tone it down. This film is going to be PG-13.”

I was shaken to the core. I strove to hide it from both of them. I saw Catherine and Kristen exchange a glance. Paranoia made me think that they had realized my insanity.

Kristen had unearthed an unrestrained being from deep within me. A primitive beast.

I inwardly tussled to increase my control over the beast so that by the third take Catherine deemed it safe enough to be shown to the studio executives of Summit Entertainment.

At the end of the Edward Cullen audition, I walked swiftly out of the room, and into the sunshine, where the scene of regular activities mocked me with its normalcy. My hurried steps away from Catherine’s house swiftly turned into a heart pounding run.

Kristen is a vampire. I had lost my life the moment I laid my eyes on her. I was bound to her forever. I was hers. And my soul knew it.

The knowledge filled me with despair and terror of the unknown.

Edward Cullen Audition Details MTV unearthed the details of the Edward Cullen audition from Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke.

“[Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart] came to my house — they had just met. We did the audition — the chemistry read — here to see if these two would have chemistry. To see if their kiss would be exciting and cool.

“I said, ‘I know you just met, but I need you to do this scene. We’re gonna do it in my bedroom, on the bed — and you’re really gonna kiss.’

“Kristen already had to kiss three other guys that day.

“They had to do it three times. [Rob] was really wild on the first take — use your imagination. I had to tell him, ‘This is going to be a PG-13 movie! I can’t show this to anybody at the studio!’

“Afterwards, Kristen and I were looking at each other like, ‘Whoa!’”

Hey, Catherine, how about putting that first audition kiss on the next Twilight DVD edition?
