The Robert Pattinson Diaries — Getting Possessive of Kristen Stewart at the 2009 VMAs
A Fictitious Entry that Chronicles the Thirst of Robert Pattinson aka Edward Cullen for Kristen Stewart aka Bella Swan
Everything had been going as planned so far. Kristen and I had sneaked backstage, while Taylor took on the red carpet at the 2009 VMAs with Ashley. Kristen and I had even agreed to make an effort to act “normally” backstage as regular co-actors would, so as not to fuel any more rumors about our relationship.
Everything from our arrival to our departure from the 2009 VMAs was set. I even brought the 2009 Teen Choice Awards experience into the strategic plans, for it had demonstrated quite clearly that it would be much better for privacy’s sake if Kristen and I separated upon leaving, instead of being caught on video entering the same vehicle.
We planned to limit our exposure to The Twilight Saga fans and press during the time that we have to introduce the New Moon expanded trailer, and, of course, accommodate MTV for some backstage pics, and then, our obligation would be done and we can scurry back to Vancouver for the Eclipse shoot.
What I had not anticipated was the flare of anger for something so small it was almost ridiculous. Taylor had gotten to Kristen first when we entered for the New Moon trailer introduction sequence, leaving me with a proffered hand that was left hanging in the air. I hastened to drop it immediately, lest it be caught on camera.
I simmered with resentment as I descended the stairs behind them, desiring for her small delicate hand to be wrapped firmly in mine, not Taylor’s. I plastered a smile on my face and strove to distract myself by slapping some hands of the MTV fans in the pit.
As we reached the designated spot, I crossed my arms over my expanding chest that was filling up with fumes of fury, a silent fury that was hidden with a well placed smile. I noticed with grim satisfaction that Kristen looked at me for assurance, but, my glee was short lived. She was about to say something when she bit her lip and leaned over to whisper something in Taylor’s ear instead.
I mastered my ferocious grimace to split into a non-threatening smile, in direct opposition to the way that I clutched my chest as I watched the intimate exchange.
As soon as she was done, I willed Kristen to come back to my side, which she did, instinctively understanding that my jealous nature would not tolerate further displays of the sort.
She began the rehearsed lines that we had gone over the day before. After I said my line, I struggled to keep a derisive smile off my face as Taylor read from the teleprompter. I cast my eyes down, for I could feel its depths sparkle with grim humor and extreme annoyance.
When we got backstage, I immediately sought a bottle of beer to calm down my flaring temper. At the moment, Beyonce was singing her lovely song, Single Ladies, and, my slightly inebriated with rage brain willed me to go over to where Taylor was watching.
I hid my infuriated intent with a little bop and shuffle, then, “accidentally” bumped into my co-star, making him stagger. I excused my supposed loss of balance with a whispered, “Oops. My apologies. Shorter leg, you know.”
I had the slight satisfaction of slamming Taylor physically, but, it was not enough. When the MTV photographers cornered us for some pics, I cast aside all plans for discretion.
In a very outright manner, I draped my arm across Kristen’s shoulders. Thankfully, Kristen obliged and supported the possessive gesture with some whispered nonsense, which I listened to absently, for the corner of my eye was trained on the usurper, noting with extreme pleasure how he looked so left out. My fingers curled on Kristen’s upper arm and continued to extract reparation for the earlier slight.

Gee! I was really, really,greatly surprised to see Rob putting his arms around Kstew’s shoulders making Taylor appear left out. I think, rob got kind of jealous that’s why he did what he did. That’s just my opinion.I can’t help but get ‘kilig” if he really got jealous. I felt bad for Taylor though for appearing left out.he he he.I hope, he’ll ignore it and won’t take it against them.

Lprna, your imagination is beyond belief. I loved everything you said. I could not have described it better. I’m pretty sure something triggered it for him to lose his focus(they try their best not to show PDA). But what the heck finally he shows how he feels about her coz for my perspective K always shows her love for him .
