The Robert Pattinson Agent Who Convinced Him to Audition for Twilight

“I really liked my American agent here, and she said, “Listen, you haven’t been here all year, you’ve got to come and do some casting auditions.” So Twilight was just one of the casting auditions I did. I really didn’t expect to get it. I didn’t know how big it was either. Now it has ended up being this huge thing, so it was just a complete fluke, I guess,” Rob relates in a YOU Magazine interview with Ruben V. Nepales
In Mexican 15 a 20 Magazine, Rob describes his apprehension regarding the Edward Cullen character, which he shared with his American agent at the time, “When I was reading the script I remember telling my agent, “I can’t do this. It’s physically impossible to do this.” The character has these amazing physical qualities that are impossible to have: he has a great body, he’s gorgeous.
“So I thought they were going to say to me “No, thank you, next.” Honestly I went to the audition without preparing. I didn’t know the lines or anything and Kristen was there. I didn’t know she was going to be Bella. She was very strong as Bella in the audition, so that gave me a clue as to how to play the character.”
Lainey Gossip identifies the female American agent of Robert Pattinson in a picture taken at the Narita Airport in Tokyo Japan, “The blonde lady with glasses walking behind him — [apparently] it’s his agent.”

IF that is Rob’s agent’s name, then, the Twilight world owes Ms. Stephanie Ritz a big “Thank you!” for convincing Rob to go over to LA even though he was “living in London” where he was a “bit jaded with acting,” “doing music” and “wasn’t even really thinking about acting.”
