The Kristen Stewart Diaries — The Harper’s Bazaar Photo Shoot with Robert Pattinson

A Fictitious Entry that Chronicles the Thirst of Kristen Stewart aka Bella Swan for Robert Pattinson aka Edward Cullen

What the f—? It’s the same f—ing questions again about whether Rob and I are together! F—! Won’t they ever tire of asking them? I answered Karen Valby of Entertainment Weekly bluntly, “I’ve thought about whether to answer this question a lot. There’s no answer that’s not going to tip you one way or the other.”

Other photo shoots and interviews came into my head, such as the one with Laura Brown of Harper’s Bazaar wherein I likened myself to a cat. She quoted me as saying, “With cats, you’re like, ‘Come here!’ And they’re standing there being like, ‘Fuck you!’” I felt like one right now, ready to claw anybody’s eyes out.

I know the feeling. I know the feeling that what you’re doing is wrong and not being able to do anything about it.

I brushed aside the guilty memories at that time when I was trying to fight my own wayward feelings, when I tried to vehemently deny they even existed, but now I was sure. I was f—ing certain of how I felt and whom I want to be with, but that doesn’t f—-ing mean I have to tell the whole f—ing world.

I expounded my reply more forcefully, “I’m not going to give the fiending an answer. I know that people are really funny about ‘Well, you chose to be an actor, why don’t you just f—ing give your whole life away?! Can I have your firstborn child?’”

I had succumbed. Not to Rob’s charm but to his honesty, because I think romance is anything honest. As long as it’s honest, it’s so disarming.

At one point I had to choose between Rob and Mike. There was no other way.

Then Bella has her best friend, standing right there who’s the perfect option. It’s comfortable and it’s easy, but she needs more than that. Bella needs the fire that she gets from Edward instead of the lukewarm comfort she gets from Jacob.

It was so f—ing weird how the Twilight books were mirroring my life. If I’m not careful, I would start believing in karma like Rob does. But the whole thing was just so f—ing perfect that it was hard not to think about destiny and soul mates. F—! I sound like a f—ing love psychic!

Out loud I said, “I’m just trying to keep something. If people started asking me if I was dating Taylor, I’d be like ‘F— off!’ I would answer the exact same way.”

I have no idea. I don’t know. I think eternal love exists. It’s really hard for me to answer these life defining questions.

Strangely enough, I probably would’ve answered the question if people hadn’t made such a big deal about it. But I knew the truth would revert in ways that I couldn’t imagine. The most predictable ones would be euphoria from the Robsten believers to accusations of using my revelation to promote The Twilight Saga

I scoffed at the latter. F—ing idiots! I stated firmly about my possible answers to the question of whether Rob and I were in love or not, “Think about every hypothetical situation: ‘Okay, we are. We aren’t. I’m a lesbian.’”

And, I knew a part of me loathed admitting it, but there might be an aspect of Bella and Edward that might also be true of Rob and I.

For me, Bella can’t breathe without Edward, and if she doesn’t have him, she’d rather die. And Edward can’t exist without Bella. He would rather die.
