A Twilight Kiss

A Fictitious Tale That Chronicles the Thirst of Kristen Stewart aka Bella Swan for Robert Pattinson aka Edward Cullen

I knew Rob and I were being rude by staying out in the restaurant’s patio during the New Moon Wrap Party and Eclipse Kick-Off Party at the Blue Water Cafe in Vancouver, but, I was a desperate woman with numbered days.

I was haunted by every second that passed, for each moment drew Rob and I closer to the end of the New Moon shoot, at which point both he and I have to go our separate ways for eight eternal weeks without seeing each other.

The monsters whispered, compounding my pain…

The thought troubled me so much I grabbed every opportunity to be with him, even staying out in the cold, sitting beside him on the patio’s floor, talking about anything and everything, letting the semi-darkness of the night enfold us in our own little cocoon.

In a few hours, I have to let him go because he has to fly to Los Angeles for a day, but, just the idea of that short period apart made me want to cling to the hands of time and force them to go slower.

The patio doors suddenly opened.

We broke apart and then relaxed when we saw that it was Ashley again with Charlie, the actor who’s going to play Demetri in New Moon.

After exchanging some small talk about the Eclipse director, David Slade, Ashley tried to persuade us for the second time to come back in and join the New Moon cast and creative staff, but, every fiber of my being just wanted to have this interlude with Rob last as long as possible.

Sensing my reluctance, Rob politely refused. Undeterred, Ashley promised to come back as she and Charlie retreated into the heated interiors.

I looked up and saw Rob looking down at me with a small smile on his lips, and then he started talking about his upcoming film.

I barely listened as I huddled closer to Rob for warmth. I luxuriated in the feel of his body pressing lightly against my side. My irises turned to a satisfied shade from seeing that our lengths were joined from shoulder to hip to ankle.

A feeling of possessiveness overtook me. I let my eyes wander over him with a raw desire that was unsettling with its sudden onset. When my possessive scrutiny finally settled on his face, his lips drew my attention like a magnet, those same lips that have been mine alone for the past year.

I was hungry for his mouth. I craved for his lips to be against mine. I wanted to devour him. I lightly clawed the side of his cheek in my exploding desire. I slid my fingers through his hair so that I could clasp the back of his neck to urge him to press himself harder against me. I was a molten mass of ravenous yearning. I coveted the consummate culmination of a coupling.

The monsters spun the whirling emerald waters…

And then I was besieged with torment with the realization that those lips were going to be kissing somebody else in his next film. As an actor, I knew it’s part of the job, I have done it myself, but, my irrational primitive side screamed voicelessly in anguish.

I could barely control my distress at the notion. I went through the motions of listening and responding at the right moments, barely aware of the words that were coming out of my mouth, barely registering that Ashley, Charlie and other New Moon cast members had come out on the patio a couple of times, barely conscious of the time as a swarm of unknown faces fed my waves of jealousy.

Before I knew it, the cast was being herded out of the Blue Water Cafe, and, as we exited the gates, I bit my lip in concentration, a half-formed wild idea beginning to take shape.

Rob and I entered the open limo hurriedly, going to the other end as far away from the open door as possible to escape the intruding cameras.

As we sat across from each other, our legs met in a familiar joined position. However, as the flashbulbs continued to light up the car’s interiors instead of being blocked by a shut door, Rob turned his head and said jokingly to the driver who was holding the door open, “Are we in the right vehicle?”

When the bulbs continued to flash, Rob began to realize the compromising position we were in, and he made a move to disentangle his legs from mine.

A silent howl at the unintended rejection ripped through me, and I fiercely clamped his leg between mine.

The monsters growled their encouragement of my dominating move.

Rob looked at me questioningly, a concerned look gleaming from his eyes. I knew I must look a bit half-crazed, but, I had a compelling impulse driving me. I wanted to declare to the whole world that Robert Pattinson is mine. It started with a soundless whisper that soon turned into a noiseless snarl, “Mine. Mine. Mine! Mine! Mine!!!”

The monsters howled in unison with my snarls.

Not understanding, but, picking up on my wordless commanding plea, Rob made a few jerky movements in his confusion then settled down to comply with my wishes to let our limbs continue to be woven together.

My agitated breathing became calmer and my pounding heartbeat slowed…

As I looked in the cameras’ direction, I knew that I had deliberately opened a Pandora’s box…

The monsters scrambled over each other in their eagerness to push the lid wide open…

“Rob spent a LOT of time outside on the patio with Kristen. Charlie Bewley and Ashley Greene would join them from time to time, but they surprisingly spent a lot of time sitting very close together in the corner of the patio smoking for most of the night. This is not some “gossip site” making it up… I saw it with my own eyes.”

Smoking Ban in Vancouver Incidentally, the photos of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart smoking in the patio may get the Blue Water Cafe into trouble.

“Effective 01 April 2008, smoking will also be banned on outdoor patios in Vancouver, a move that puts pressure on the restaurant sector, where the owners will face fines of up to $2,500 if they are found to be not enforcing the laws.

“They have the right to refuse service to people who don’t comply with the law,” said Richard Taki, a manager, with the Vancouver Coastal Health Authority.”

The Limo Door That Slowly Closed Avid Twilighter canadagraphs has an interesting observation about the limo that Rob and Kristen rode.

“Rob joked about if he got in the wrong vehicle, since the limo driver seemed slow to close the door, giving the fans & photogs a chance to snap 1-2 more pics before the door closed. Someone joked back “you got in the paparazzi limo” & the door then closed & they left.”

Another Twilighter maliciousmandy wrote that she talked with the limo driver previously and discovered he is also a Twilighter fan.

“A man in a cowboy hat and a limo had driven by a few times and expressed his own interest in meeting the cast. I asked him “are you their limo driver?” (knowing they don’t take limos) He replied, “No, I am a fan, just like you, are they all still inside?”

“This was just tooo funny. He left and drove by a few times, waving, blaring music, parking in site of the restaurant, hoping to catch their eyes and get to offer them a ride.

“Soon, his wishes were granted. As this waitress ran down the street to find a third taxi we told the limo driver that they were getting ready to leave. A few other fans encouraged him to pull up beside taxis that were waiting. So he did.”
