The Imprinting on Kristen Stewart by Boyfriend Michael Angarano

Jacob Black attempts to explain to Bella how pack member Quil could have imprinted on a two year old in the Stephenie Meyer book Eclipse, Chapter 8, Temper.
“It’s not like love at first, really. It’s more like…gravity moves. When you see her, suddenly it’s not the earth holding you here anymore. She does. And nothing matters more than her. And you would do anything for her, be anything for her… You become whatever she needs you to be, whether that’s a protector, or a lover, or a friend or a brother. When she’s older and needs a friend, [you'll] be more understanding, trustworthy, and reliable than anyone she ever knows.”
Age wise, there’s more or less a couple and a half years difference between Kristen Stewart and her boyfriend Michael Angarano. They met on the set of the film Speak, when Kristen was 13, and have been together ever since. The pair began as friends and graduated to a real life couple within a period of, approximately, three years. And, they have been a twosome for two years, which makes for a sum total of five years all in all.
In a radio interview, the jock asked Kristen Stewart, “And you [have] a boyfriend for two years?” The question led eighteen year old Kristen to describe the longevity of her relationship with Michael, “Yeah. I know, it’s a little weird, but, we’ve been best friends, like, forever,” and, revealed that although they don’t live together, there is physical proximity, “[We] live close [to each other]. We both live at home.” (go to 1:51 and 2:52)
When the possibility of a boyfriend “upgrade” was brought up, in a tone reminiscent of the hospital scene in Twilight, Kristen responds, “No, no, (go to 1:56)” which reminds me of the latter part of Jacob and Bella’s conversation.
“And then, when she’s grown up…[why] wouldn’t she choose him in the end? He’ll be her perfect match. Like he was designed for her alone.”
Despite the present decisiveness of Kristen Stewart to be with her current boyfriend, if ever she expresses her doubt and desire to explore other paths, would the devoted love that’s akin to wolf imprinting of Michael Angarano allow him to let go of Kristen so that she can find out what she and Robert Pattinson truly feel for each other? Can Michael offer Kristen the same loving yet masochistic option Edward Cullen gave Bella in Eclipse, Chapter 24, Snap Decision?
I’m not going to make you choose between us. Just be happy, and you can have whatever part of me you want, or none at all, if that’s better.

furthermore i dont think that kriz is with michael.. cuz she loves him … its more out of habit.
i mean they know each other 4 such a long time .. & it would be strange without the other one ..
but how she looks at him – isnt sth where i would say – wooow she rly loves him ..

that is so true..jacob and bella have known each other for a long time since they were kids..but bella moved away..they’ve been BFF.. i don’t think kristen loves michael but because they’ve known each other for a long time..it’s hard for kristen to let go..she truly values their friendship just like bella to jacob’s and she can’t let go.. but i think in the end love prevails.. and i think it already has between rob and kristen..kristen’s been so happy lately since after that shot of her and michael in vancouver..

That is true… Very true… ! Michael and Kristen shouldn’t be together and I feel like Michael doesn’t have to guts to go all Edward-slash-King Solomon on Kristen. If imprinting were possible, Kristen would be obviously imprinting on Rob and Michael is gonna be like Jacob. Michael should let go of Kristen seeing how much Kristen “loves” (Platonic… or so they claim)Rob. And later on Kristen realizes that Rob and herself are meant to be after all. It’s like life imitating art but this time, it goes somewhere awesome… like Robsten Land.
