The Eclipse Love Triangle or Seduction Fan Fiction Challenge

Have you ever imagined a scene in Eclipse where there’s a confrontation of some sort between Edward Cullen and Jacob Black over Bella Swan, aside from those written by Stephenie Meyer, the most famous of which is the sleeping bag scene?
Although you can create any scene from Eclipse, I think the most intriguing for ATwilightKiss readers is anything that involves the love triangle; or, maybe another seduction attempt by Bella to get Edward to make love to her. Just remember, you have to write it from any character’s point of view except Bella.

I’m not too fond of the whole “love triangle” concept. In the book, maybe it was just me but, Bella seemed pretty oblivious to Jake’s advances and didn’t want them. And her somewhat realization that she could be happy with him, but doesn’t want it, comes towards the end. In the movies though they play them as if it’s so obvious there’s a LOVE triangle with active participants. Bella doesn’t really have feelings for Jacob, until the part where he’s going to fight, and she begs him to come back and she realizes that she has got some feelings, but nowhere near as strong as she has for Edward. There is no love triangle before that, there’s just Jacob who loves Bella, and Bella who doesn’t love Jacob. In the movies, in NM there’s the love triangle already, although there really isn’t any. I’m not sure if the love triangle even exists in the right meanings of the words, because there’s not a chance where Bella would choose Jacob, cause she knows that she cannot live her life without Edward. Bella’s problem isn’t choosing between two people she truly loves, it’s choosing between her best friend and her boyfriend. Or have I misunderstood the books? Lol. Sorry, I’m so off topic. I just needed to say something about that.
Ps. I’m not saying the whole love triangle concept is a bad idea for the fanfiction stories. Just saying that because of the movies, people actually think there’s a real love triangle between the three of them.

Lorna you should do that! The love triangle thing doesn’t seem all that interesting, but that’s just my opinion.

Amen to that Irene! You just took the words out of my mouth! I thought I was the only one who thought that but apparently so is Irene! That’s great. Lol but I just don’t feel what Irene said ‘coz I’m a Team Edward like some of my friends were saying. It’s ‘coz Bella would never choose Jacob over Edward. Enough said.

I see what you’re saying. Bella does fall in love with Jacob in New Moon. When Edward comes back she knows she is still in love with him but still has strong feelings for Jacob. She basically loves two people and has to choose which one she cannot live without and that is Edward.

Bella is in love with Jacob, I get that…what Im sayin is, that there’s no love triangle. She is in love with them both, one more strong than the other, but she only leads herself for the strongest one.
I love Stephanie Meyer, and the story. But I still don’t understand the necessity of Bella bein in love with Jacob.

OMG…i noticed the plaid shirt, too. i guess it’s just their way of reminding each other how they feel. it’s really subtle and sweet, in my opinion.
