Summit Entertainment Schedules New Moon Press Conference with Robert Pattinson

I’m taking a stab at guessing why there’s suddenly an announcement of a press conference before the New Moon 2009 San Diego Comic Con panel appearance on 23 July 2009, when, previously, The Twilight Saga star Robert Pattinson’s absence at the backstage interviews with the press had already been announced.
While Twilight star Rob Pattinson will not do backstage press interviews at Comic-Con this week for New Moon, he and co-stars Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner will participate in an off-site press conference in San Diego early Thursday morning.
Summit Entertainment must have been besieged by the press people and fans for a chance to hear Robert Pattinson speak. As I wrote before, Robert Pattinson is not merely eye candy. He is an articulate, intelligent and humorous interview.
From this experience, hopefully, Summit Entertainment has learned its lesson about trying to relegate Robert Pattinson to the background. It simply won’t work. It’s foolish to even try.

OMG robyn! Thank you for that! They are so beautiful together. I love the way she leans back into him and how comfortable they obviously are with one another (compared to in the beginning where Kris looked a little awkward with Taylor).

So far this is nothing like the 2008 Comic Con were they couldn’t keep their eyes off each other. Kristen looked pissed plus it looked like she was the one who choose to sit where she did on the end with Taylor in the middle. I think Taylor playing the big role in the interviews isn’t good because he does not interview that well. He is so boring and not funny.
