Summit Entertainment Claims Copyright Infringement with My Unofficial New Moon Script
I got a surprise when I visited my YouTube account recently. YouTube notified me that Summit Entertainment is claiming copyright infringement with the video preview of Part 1 of my Unofficial New Moon script — Severed Ties, which had some lines from the birthday party of Bella Swan.
It was a surprise because the unofficial script was published on 05 December 2008, way before any of the New Moon trailers and script leaks came out and, as far as I know, is very far from the Melissa Rosenberg treatment.
Anyway, I did not dispute the claim because Summit Entertainment does own all The Twilight Saga characters, but, I’m wondering why they bothered with my preview. And, I’d like to point out that there were no complaints with previews of Parts 2, 3 and 4, just 1. It’s a mystery that I may never solve. Of course, it also set me to thinking whether I should even bother with writing the unofficial scripts of Eclipse and Breaking Dawn
That aside, if you wish to read my New Moon Unofficial Script, I’ve provided the links below. Purists beware. If you wish to see a close adaptation of the book, then you won’t find it in the script. LOL

WHAT!!
Now that that’s out of the way; maybe they’ll call you up for BD. Wouldn’t that be a blast. Still, they make nonsense calling infringement rights on you for something that was done barely after New Moon was given a go. Seriously, some people should stop feeling too hot.

They want to make the compannion or the haters.
Write your script now for Breaking dawn.
I mean it can proof your work that not relate to any upcoming Eclipse too.Eventhough miss the script for Eclipse too.

The same thing happend to me on another site. I was selling some pendants that I had made. Summit says that I violated there copyright. I will not pursue it because it is not that big of a deal to me. I will continue to make my other pendants. I wonder how they found me.

Thats sooo stupid. Summit want to claim everything that has even a little thing to do with the Twilight movies. oh no. thye might try to claim this too because i said Twilight movies. damn. i said it again. anyways i reallyyyy enjoyed your unofficial script i also hope that you do one for eclipse! ;]

They threatened to sue me for my “unofficial scores”. I wrote over 50 songs inspired by the books and they came after me hard. It was really scary.
