Let’s just be reminded of what a bloody minded Brit Rob can be by listing some of his past skirmishes with The Hollywood Bosses, in his case, Summit Entertainment

Spunky Robert Pattinson Resists Media Training Rob told Karen Valby of Entertainment Weekly about his disastrous media training sessions.

”I got sent to media training and my agent got back messages like, ‘He’s resisting the media training,”’ he says with an amused shrug.

Spunky Robert Pattinson Remains Scruffy Rob recounts his scolding from the powers that be regarding his scruffy appearance to InStyle Germany.

“Once there were paparazzi pics circulating which showed me ruffled in front of a club. Some Hollywood-bosses demanded that I comb my hair for the sake of my fans. When they realized that my un-hairstyle is admired in Twilight-circles, then I was allowed to run around uncombed again.”

Spunky Robert Pattinson Refuses to Memorize Answers In the same EW interview, Rob relates how he refused to memorize pat answers for the first public outing of the Twilight cast, the San Diego Comic Con, which produced so many memorable lines, most notably, Rob pronouncing, “I just wanted to play the hottest vampire in the world. Woo!”

Before the Comic-Con panel, the cast was given prepared answers, but Pattinson refused to stick to the script. ”Even little kids don’t want to hear you say the same pat stuff,” he insists. ”It’s boring! I’m thinking about my career in long terms, rather than just trying to milk one thing for whatever it’s worth.”

Spunky Robert Pattinson Cuts His Hair While talking to a reporter from Bliss Magazine, Rob gives an inkling of his intentions of doing away with his famous locks, which the studio has forbidden him to cut. Nevertheless, Rob proceeds with his plan by the end of 2008.

Now it’s like, ‘[His hair] is his signature style! I’m definitely going to cut it pretty soon.”

Spunky Robert Pattinson Does Not Attend Any DVD Release Party Instead of attending any Twilight DVD release party, Rob opted to support his mate, Sam Bradley, who confirmed that Rob was in the wings, and “remained out-of-sight from the general public during the show.”

“Every time I made a mistake, I kept looking over,” Bradley tells Celebuzz. “At one point I walked off-stage and just started laughing.” Bradley was playing the cover of “Man’s World” by James Brown, ran into some problems and left the stage to pick up his folder. He looked up at Pattinson hanging out in the stage wings, out-of-sight. “I just started laughing,” says Bradley. “And he was just smiling back.”

Spunky Robert Pattinson Goes Off Book Rob discusses his aversion for being on book to EW, even if it may mean his destruction.

“You either have to be off book from the beginning or be on book forever. And I’ve never really seen the point of being on book.” He laughs and signals the waitress for another round of beers. ”Watch, though. I’m going to be completely destroyed.”

Despite their gratitude for the opportunities that Twilight has thrown their way, Robert Pattinson, together with his Twilight co-star, Kristen Stewart, probably have this inner attitude if ever push comes to shove.
