OMC!! My mouth was gaping while I was reading this post!! I can’t effing believe that Sam’s coming to the Phils!! But why in Manila only??? It’s so unfair!! Why can’t he go to each & every SM mall?? One in Bacolod to be specific?? Hmph!
I’m feeling very ambivalent…happy & sad at the same time..=( He’s gonna be so near, yet so far…I hate my life…=’(

How/Why is it that of all the hundreds of countries, Sam Bradley (and his handlers?) decided to go to the Philippines?
I’m almost excited to hope that the Brit Pack and Rob have a soft spot for the Phils? or, perhaps, they have Pinoy friends? Also, notice the Phil flag in the cafeteria scene of Twilight? I think there were several scenes when that Phil flag was captured. Isnt’ that exciting?
Please post something about the SB/Manila/etc. gigs.

2opinionated4me, although those thoughts are very nice, I feel compelled to point out that his coming here to the Philippines is business related in the sense that the Sam Bradley concerts will be used to promote New Moon and its 20 November 2009 Philippine opening. The SM Malls creative group probably came up with the idea and put together a package that was appealing enough for Sam Bradley and his entourage.
Plus, he mentioned in his tweet that he’ll be doing a documentary film.
Thanks for the info, caspeta. And, dazzled, it will be cheaper to fly to Cebu than to go all the way to Vancouver.

Lorna, thank you for pointing that out. That’s what I thought after seeing Sam’s promo poster.
One of Rob’s many positive character traits is that he’s loyal (gives credit to his composer friends/helps his friends). I’ve read somewhere that this Brit Pack group of singing friends made a pact (or something similar) that they’ll help each other to be successful. Aside from composing/performing/recording their own music, one area that this group is targeting is making music for movies, etc. I will not be surprised if Rob had a hand in getting his friend on the Summit promo payroll/ entry to the world of movie soundtrack composing.
