Robert Pattinson Would Rather Play Satan Than Prince Charming
Robert Pattinson as Prince Charming Robert Pattinson muses about his reluctance to play a “Prince Charming” like character by describing his Twilight audition with Kristen Stewart.
“I just thought [Bella] was going to be a real damsel in distress actress. And I couldn’t pretend to be the Prince Charming to some dippy girl! Not that that is how the book is. But I thought that was how the film would turn out. And of course Kristen is tough, smart and a good actress, and so it completely changed my opinion and so I ended up playing him as a kind of a wreck. That was how that happened.”
Robert Pattinson as Satan When Rob was asked at the 2009 Oscars regarding “what other supernatural creature [other than a vampire that] he’d like to play,” his answer was short and simple.
“Satan.”
Robert Pattinson as a Sexy Devil Tina Fey agrees with Rob’s assessment of his ability to play a “devil.”
Tina [Fey] and Jimmy [Fallon] laughed over a picture of her sitting two rows behind Mickey Rourke at the Oscars and her attempt to get into the shot — she then asked about the gentleman sitting next to Rourke in the picture, ‘Twilight’s Robert Pattinson. “Is that the devil? Who’s the other guy?” Tina asks about the young actor. “That’s the ‘Twilight’ dude,” Jimmy responds.
“Sexy devil,” Tina calls Pattinson.
