Robert Pattinson vs. Zac Efron GQ 2009 Covers

Just a friendly comparison here, folks. Twilight hottie Robert Pattinson was on the cover of the recently released April 2009 GQ Magazine while High School Musical hunk Zac Efron will be gracing the May 2009 GQ cover.
Alex Pappademas, who wrote the piece on Rob for GQ, also interviewed Zac. And, Peggy Sirota, who famously took the Vanity Fair photos of the Twilight cast and had Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in unforgettable clinches, aimed her camera at the young heartthrob and made him go through the paces as well, albeit without a partner.

Robert Pattinson and Zac Efron, together with HSM star Vanessa Hudgens, were last seen together at the Governor’s Ball chatting after both being presenters at the 2009 Oscars.

OMG, I was at Waldenbooks yesterday and I saw that GQ magazine, SO was with me of course and he scoffed at it. Yes I agree I think Robert is hot, sexy, talented and he’s my type. Zac is ok but he’s not my type. I think most girls go for someone who looks a little dangerous, am I right? Someone who has some kind of a mysterious air to them? I know I do and of course, who can resist a talented musician!

Their only one year in age difference apparently (I thought Efron was like 17) but one acutally looks like a man and the other does not. I always like a little scruff – or alot lol – on a man. It’s sexy.

Ace Ventura Pet Detective is a really good comparison to Zac Efron’s style on that mag!
Robert looks older too in that picture. I think Zac’s older but Robert looks older, that’s a compliment!

. . . it is a reflection on how the photogs perceive their subject. obviously, they perceive Robert as devastatingly handsome, thus the type of photos. Whereas, they perceive Zac as the clean, next door boy, thus the photos.

bellacullen—-you are hilarious, and you are right—exactly the same as Ace Ventura.
But I like said, photographers have certain perception of their subject, so he obviously thinks Robert is a that “james bond” rugged handsome guy so all his photos turned out devastatingly handsome.
and Zac, a funny, pretty boy!
