Before Eclipse rehearsals commence in Vancouver on August 2009, New Moon shape shifter Taylor Lautner slips another film into his tight schedule – a romantic movie entitled Valentine’s Day

Taylor Lautner will be joining an impressive cast list that includes Julia Roberts, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Alba, Jessica Biel, Jennifer Garner, Shirley MacLaine, Bradley Cooper, Topher Grace, Emma Roberts, Taylor Swift, Hector Elizondo and Ashton Kutcher.

Valentine’s Day is helmed by The Princess Diaries and Pretty Woman director Gary Marshall, with a script penned by Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein. “The film follows 10 Los Angeles people whose lives intersect on Valentine’s Day.”

Assuming that Valentine’s Day is also slated for the love month in 2010, then the ongoing literary and onscreen rivalry between Edward Cullen and Jacob Black may continue, in part, in the respective films of Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, namely, Remember Me and the aforementioned Valentine’s Day ;)

However, a lot more will be riding on The Twilight Saga vampire’s shoulders. While Valentine’s Day is an ensemble film, Robert Pattinson needs to prove his mettle by carrying the film mostly on his name alone by generating moderately impressive gross receipts totals during the love weekend of 12-14 February 2010.

  • BC Says:

Wow congrats to Taylor on landing a role with an impressive cast. I think RM is really scr—ed. Tay’s flick will win hands down. I don’t know about you guys but RM sounds super depressing. A love story that centers around 9/11. This is still a very touchy touchy subject in the US and in NYC.

  • Julia Says:

wow! thats some very impressive people taylor!! proud of you :)

still hope robs remember me goes brilliantly though.

  • katiee Says:

sorry but i like rob more so i’m gonna have to go see his. still hope it goes well for taylor tho (:

  • Caaaass Says:

    WHAA.

I want to watch Taylor`s more. :| Remember Me sounds like a real good movie, and I want to support Rob too. But imagining Rob and Emilie in a movie that makes me think that they`re together because of their onscreen rolls as Tyler and Ally… Then I guess I don`t want to watch it much anymore.

I`d watch Valentine`s Day more. Since, y`know, the people there are super awesome and the storyline is a wee bit more interesting.

But, one thing`s kinda for sure… I`m watching BOTH. But I bet I`ll have regrets of watching Remember Me.

No offense. I`m just too much of a RobSten a.k.a. Pattinstew a.k.a. R/K Shipper.

And Lorna, you know I love you! LOL.

And for all the NOYPINOYS out there… Namatay na si Cory Aquino !

  • Lala Says:

What Cory Aquino died? How? OMG!

    RIP Cory Aquino.

  • malou Says:

yes lala, she died at around 3:18am, august 1. colon cancer stage 4.

    RIP cory aquino.

    Robward & Krisabella

R: Hey, babe, wanna watch some movies for V-Day?
    K: Excuse me, a-what-day?
    R: *wiggles eyebrow* You know, Valentine’s Day…
K: *burst lol* omg! Rob you’re so lame.
    R: *sad face* …
    K: Hey…hey, babe. Aw, c’mon. Okay let’s watch a movie? What movie?
R: *giddy* Remember Me or Valentine’s Day?
K: Huh, what? No! Neither. Last Tango in Paris.
    R: Again?
    K: Yeah, again!
R: *recalls-some-scenes* Oh, well. Why nott?

    LOL. I’m sorry. Hey everyone.
I think I’d just watch anything that I can get my hands on. If there is The Grinch, I’ll watch it. LOL. I think it’s great that Taylor can be among that line-up of cast, I think he’d have so much new experience on the set with them and so many things can be learned. And Remember ME, I dunno nothing bot the storyline, LOL. Poor me.

And Taylor Swift, huh? Can they be the TNT that explode in the movie? Hm…let’s see.

See ya in other comments guys.
    Keep it up Lorna.

  • JakewaybetterthanEDWARD Says:

i am FO SHO going to watch Taylor Lautner (total hottie…**grins wide**)’s movie first. one reason: i love jennifer garner…oh AND taylor swift.
2nd reason: hes way cuter/better/hotter than ROBERT.

  • Antonia Says:

I can’t wait to see Rob beat Taylor at the box office. Because OF COURSE Rob is going to win! :)

  • kristine Says:

taylor’s movie reminds me of another movie with an all-star cast, “He’s not just that into you”.
it didn’t really do good at the box office…

i’ll definitely be watching rob’s, and nothing will be powerful enough to stop me! haha! :D

  • karen Says:

  • carol Says:

Taylor Lautner is perfect!!!s2 i love you!!!!

  • Robsgal Says:

Remember Me will definitely win!! Hands down!! Rob is wayyy sexier than FUGLY Taylor! Sorry to all you Tay fans but he will definitely lose this. I mean he is only in the movie for like 5 mins, so even if it does do well, it’s NOT because Taylor was it and that is for sure!! But I have no doubt that my man RPattz will win. He is way sexier, a much more talented actor and just all around better than yucky Tay-Tay :P

  • louise keller Says:

taylor I love my life because my life is you ….

  • end Says:

I think sound just a nice movies but not a deeper and beautiful story like RM.. Many big actors not guarantee for the big money/good review.
I love robsten but I dont mind if R/K doing kissing or make out scene with another person, cos they’re just doing their job. That’s call ACTING….

  • milu Says:

rob’s story line seems boring.just another love story. but tay’s movie has half of hollywood in it.and is directed by the person who directed “pretty women and princess diaries”. no way i’m going to miss tay’s movie(f.y.i it is so intresting). and i mean when it’s in cinemas.

  • mami Says:

omg taylor is my dreamboy !!!!!
    Boy i can´t sleep , i can´t eat , i can´t love an other boy

  • Vanessa Says:

Valentines Day was a HUGE flop. It was the same over-used plot…a bunch of big hollywood stars team up and do some cliche rom-com, sound like Love Actually, anyone?

Taylor Lautner is not a good actor, he has already made some stupid choices in his future movie roles…he does not think with his head (all brawn and no brain). Robert is very smart for choosing movies with depth and meaning, he is not looking for a quick buck or willing to sell out.

Remember Me was a far superior movie than Valentine’s Day…anyone who disagrees with me is an idiot.
