The BellaAndEdward.com Version During the 2009 London Film and Comic Con on 19 July at Earl’s Court, The Twilight Saga star Peter Facinelli related a Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart anecdote while answering a Twilighter’s question. Emily and Alice of BellaAndEdward.com reports.

“Just before we started filming New Moon, I went into a card shop. I can’t really remember what for. It might have been Mother’s Day or something. But, anyway, I walked into the shop, and I picked up a nice card with a river on the front [that] said something like ‘Don’t worry that you’re not in the right job,’ which is a big insult to someone in this [acting] profession.

Anyway, I gave it to Rob, who didn’t understand it at first. I explained it to him and told him to give it to Kristen. He did so and then came back telling me that “She got mad!”

It circulated around the cast and last of all we gave it to [New Moon director] Chris (Weitz).”

The RadarOnline.com Version A fan report on RadarOnline.com has another version of the same story.

“Peter apparently bought a card for Robert Pattinson with a joke about “In these hard times, you’ll find a good job soon… but as it’s you, maybe not,” and Rob apparently gave it to Kristen Stewart who didn’t think it was funny, but, after she got the joke, passed it on to Chris Weitz.”

Okay, I like the first version better. ;)

A huge thank you to ATK reader Luisa for the BAE link and the heads up.
