As he accepted the Choice Celebrity Vampire award at the 2011 Teen Choice Awards on 07 August 2011, Robert Pattinson made sure to mention Cancer Bites, a movement to support blood cancer research, i.e., leukemia and lymphoma.

Other actors who are on hit vampire films and TV series have also rallied to the cause, such as Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley of Vampire Diaries and Alexander Skarsgard of True Blood.

On Halloween, Cancer Bites will launch an education and awareness campaign. To find out how you can help, please visit Cancer Bites.
