Assurance of Robert Pattinson Presence in New Moon Undoubtedly, the main objective of the first New Moon teaser poster is to assure everyone that their favorite hottest vampire in the world will make his presence more felt in the film than in the books by plastering him on the very front of the first New Moon teaser poster, clearly shadowing his co-stars.
Too Mature Bella Swan Although the ROBsessed part of me rejoices this fact, my Twilighter side sincerely hopes that the next teaser poster will have Bella Swan, otherwise known as Kristen Stewart, in the forefront.
For that sophomore effort, can Bella Swan look less sophisticated and mature? Her image on the first one seems out of character. I see Kristen Stewart more than Bella Swan.
Lovely Taylor Lautner Taylor actually embodies Jacob Black on the first teaser poster, with a surprising maturity considering his young age. Lovely tension between the two male lead characters with those fierce and intense side-long glances too.

I don’t like it… I think fanmades are more attractive and they’re wonderful with cliff scenes… This poster is too… “Bla bla” “boring”

Yeah I felt like I was looking at ROB , Taylor and Kirsten .. not the character ..and for a first glance I thought ..this poster must be fake or unofficial…

I wish that Rob and Bella were next to each other, looking at each other’s eyes or something. And they could have a backdrop of Bella jumping off the cliff or something. Anyway, it’s good but just thought I’d share my 2 cents.

I don’t really like it either. I too feel like Bella should be in the front as the book is about her more than Edward. Seems like some are forgetting that the movie wouldn’t really be possible without both Bella and Edward.

i like it i think it shows how jacob doesnt like edward just by his facial and how jacob is standing in from of bella like he’s trying to protect her. and kristen is just like the perfect bella so i like it

I’m thinking this is the first poster in a series of posters much like what they did with Twilight. I like this poster mainly because of their facial expressions .. Edward is acting the part of being indifferent (I shudder just thinking of the break up scene) .. Jacob looks very protective of Bella and hostile at Edward .. Bella looks dazed and torn. This is the poster that is definitive of the “love triangle” angle. I’m sure they will come up with more posters conveying all the other aspects of the movie. My bottomline: I like it and I’m looking forward to more posters.

I see Kristen Stewart, not Bella Swan. Sorry guys.. Agree with you Lorna.
I thought the poster would be dark and mysteristic… You know, a little like twilight poster.
But i like the way Edward look at Bella.
Oh and i’ve just relized some thing. I thought there would be a quote like twilight (”when you can live forever,what do you live for”). I like a quote from new moon book: ‘love. Life. Meaning. Over’. It was deep. Heehee.
A little dissapoint. But i wish they would remake the poster.

I really like this poster. everything is about the symbollism. Edward is great. you can see that he is leaving. but he still turn his head to watch over bella. he seems torn by his decision to leave bella. Bella looks the best. you see very well the relationship with jacob . she has her hand almost on him but she doesn’t quite touch him . it means that he is her support. She looks liveless but at the same time very lost like she is looking for something far away. wich is how she feels in most of the book. Jacob is very tense , protective.that,s great. because in the book he tryes to protect her from her nighmare of loosing edward and also from victoria and laurent.He wants her to move on edward and is very upset about the vampire especially edward for hurting bella. So i really disagre withyou lorna , i don’t see kristen in the pics, i see bella, confused, lost,searching, lifeless.
the colour are fantastic they remind of the warm of the werewolves and specially jake. sorry for my english i’m from france
