I don’t know what’s the exact question being ask to Rob and he’s statement was confusing, other comments here were convinced that Rob denied because of how it was being quote” The love affair rumour is false” I’m not sure of the exact words but some are just relying on this quote. Although Robs answer was related to the dating issue he’s acutually pointing out how rumours were being written on the front page ( tabloids ) most of them ( tabloids or mags ) have the same topic and gossip and sometimes using the old statement or quotes before which is very annoying that’s why he said there’s no difference.

He didn’t deny that he and Kristen has a relationship.. He’s talking about the secret dates..
“It doesn’t make any difference what you say [to the tabloids]. I’ve literally been across the country [from Kristen], and it’s like ‘Oh, they were on secret dates!’ It’s like ‘Where? I can’t get out of my hotel room!’ ”

That VF article was confusing & misleading. The part about: For the record, however, Pattinson says the rumors of a love affair are false. Then in the subtitle: Robert Pattinson Vanity Fair December 2009, quoted: He successfully made up the cover page of the December 2009 issue of the magazine. He was too serious about his relationship with co-star Kristen Stewart and wanted to get married.

Yeah i think you guys are right he just eny that he had secret dates with Kris during Remember me.I think they are obligated to deny becauze of summit but they just deny specific speculations like Kris did with the whole pregnency thing and rob with the secret dates. Also, remember the interview of Kris that she just rolled her eyes when they asked about rob? She didn’t say nothing…

No, I don’t think he actually denied the relationship but only to that particular incident that rumor had it saying he and Kristen had secret dates when both of them were filming in different locations in the nation. He only addressed the false info to that piece of incident not the whole Robsten thing.
