Robert Pattinson Nearness Effect Measured at 50 Yards

New Moon director Chris Weitz tries to downplay his own fame in an interview with Amy Nicholson of Box Office

“I’m recognized in inverse proportion to my nearness to Rob. There’s some kind of equation I could work out. Basically if I’m within 50 yards of Rob, I matter. If not, I just don’t.”

Although one cannot deny that the mania surrounding Robert Pattinson is quite phenomenal, I think Chris Weitz will find that the levels of his personal fame can only increase proportionally to the coming of New Moon

Christ Weitz is an amazing and talented man. The way he directed New Moon is like nothing else. I have great respect for him. I wish he would direct Breaking Dawn ‘coz I know the honeymoon will be steamy and hot like the reunion kiss in Italy :D
