Robert Pattinson Blows Up Over Little Ashes Question

Uploaded from hollywooddame.com
In a rare unheard of incident, Amy Raphael of The Guardian writes that Rob “briefly blows up when I mention his dismissal of the film [Little Ashes] as “nothing.”"
“I hate having to do all this s—t! I’ve already been told to apologise for saying it. I was just trying to say that it was a tiny, little film. It had a minuscule budget. I was just trying to say that if Twilight hadn’t come along, I don’t know how much Little Ashes would have been publicised. In an ideal world, everyone would go around watching arthouse films about Dalí and Lorca. But a lot of people have no idea who Lorca even was.”
He collects himself: “People love all the negative stuff – ‘He doesn’t like the film!’ ‘He’s a homophobe!’ Oh great.”
The “nothing” comment comes from the GQ April 2009 issue where Rob tells Alex Pappademas about his opinion of Little Ashes.
[Rob is] pretty sure the only reason Little Ashes is getting any kind of promotional push is that he’s in it.
“It’s nothing,” he says. “It would never have been released. I mean, that’s a terrible thing to say, but this was a movie where we didn’t even have stand-ins! We were scrambling, the entire time. We didn’t even have trailers.”
Robert Pattinson is showing some fangs at last! Good for him!
Little Ashes will open on 08 May 2009. For a list of theaters worldwide that will screen Little Ashes, please visit ROBsessed

A little out of character for him but that’s ok. He’s entitled to blow up. I’m kind of glad he did. I’m sure he’s just really fed up. The poor guy’s been pulled into so many different directions this past year

Again, he’s just being honest and he doesn’t see any reason why he has to apologize for simply stating the truth.
You can’t help but simply admire Robert Pattinson for this reason. Hayyyy

something i love about this guy is his honesty, although most of their words get twisted in an unfunny kind of way. Just keeping it real IMO.

Rob is just saying the truth, it’s because of Twilight that people will even bother to watch Little Ashes.

This is an example of being taken out of context just like when they called kStew ungrateful when she told the press how she got the role of Bella, that she was like forced into it.The people who made nasty comments either did not read the whole printed interview or watched the whole videotaped interview and simply relied on controversial double meaning headlines which magazines do so as 2 sell their papers.
What i mean is this is a classic example of being taken out of context,a non-issue turning into a controversial one)Although this article is about RPAttz allegedly “blowing up”,I would like 2 address a similar KStew issue which may be old now but 4 the sake of new readers who are catching up on Robsten, here is the way i see it.
KStew is not ungrateful when she said she awas sort of “forced”in taking the role of BElla. She simply NARRATED how she got the part.PLs go back and read/watch all of her interviews regarding this b4 making your judgment.
Secondly, They also hit on KStew’s dad when he allegedly said that KSTew will attend the OSCAr night only when the movie is not just known 4 its box office…but 4 acting or something 2 this effect.Again,we do not know if he really uttered this statement and how he said it.Supposed he was just joking without realizing the bad impression he is creating? And even if he did, that’s him.We should not punish the daughter 4 a careless statement made by the father, right?
Going back 2 RPAttz,yes-he has the right 2 get angry against those who would twist his words and make it appear otherwise when it is not.To the fans.Always keep an open mind.Don;t be 2 quick to jump into conclusions.
