Robert Pattinson Attends London Premiere

Robert Pattinson went home to England to attend the London premiere of Twilight on 04 December 2008, where he was met with screams and signs saying ‘Bite Me Edward!’ from excited female fans, who were quick to point out that the Twilight star is a Brit and one of their own.
In an interview, Robert Pattinson revealed that shooting for the sophomore film of the Twilight saga, New Moon, will commence on March 2009 in Canada and Italy.
Comparisons with another Brit franchise, James Bond, eventually came up, and Robert recounted how a flippant bet with his manager came true when his prediction as to how much Twilight will earn over the weekend was only off by $5M. Robert insists, “No one. No one expected to beat Bond over the weekend. It’s completely nuts!”
Kristen “Bella” Stewart, who also attended the Twilight London premiere, agreed, “This is crazy.”
