The Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart audition is legendary in its scope and width. It’s a favorite topic on ATwilightKiss. I’ve always had the theory that Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke was holding on to the audition tapes, which document the first time when Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart meet and kiss. The first take was so steamy that Catherine had to remind Rob that the film was PG-13.
And, I don’t know how I missed this, but in an MTV interview to promote Red Riding Hood, Catherine Hardwicke confirms that she is in possession of the audition tapes, but, will NOT release it. “It’s much too dangerous!” Catherine said. “It would start riots, honestly, if we let it out there.”
