XD immmm 2008… Robert’s fingers are curled and he looks a little akward with his hand like that… 2009 XD his fingers on kristen’s arm are woohoo sooo comfortable!!!! and more important soooo deployed XD… what else? oh yeah!!!!!! 2008: Kristen’s arms are folded in her chest… 2009: she has both arms soooo comfortably
around robert!…. one even is inside his tux!!!! XD…. 2008: they look soooo happy together buuut in 2009 they look intimate ;D….*wink wink* XD…2008 and 2009: they look just as happy and as perfect together as always!!!!!

hmmn.. In the first, Rob’s hands are balled and Kristen’s wrapped around her. I’ll specualte that they’re unconsiously hiding something or trying to hold back. In the 2nd one they have their arms wrapped around each other, soooo..^_^
Aside from the hands, the first pic was taken with MA looming around.

Lol I agree with all of you guys. 08 pic is like ‘friendly but getting there’ but 09 pic it’s already there and still moving! Lol weird wordings but that’s what I think! Rob on 08 pic is like jokingly attracted to Kris but we all know that jokes are half-meant, however Rob on 09 pic is like “don’t touch her, don’t even look at her. She’s mine.” so possessive which is VERY GOOD!

2008 VMAs Kristen didn’t have her arm around Rob. i found that looking at pictures of Kristen & Michael when they were still dating, Kristen didn’t really wrap her arm around Rob. now that they are over, i find that she does. small? yes. but significant? i think so

2008…They look so happy and easy and even kind of friendly…But you can sense the atracttion…
2009….They look more like a couple to me…more like they having an intimate moment….
They both look great in both….

The 2008 top pic reminds me of; Friends but “closer” in a non-romantic kind of way, something like it ‘could’ go there but just isn’t. Or JUST friends, I guess, who feel comfortable with each other more than anyone else b/c they were/are the lead roles of the movie franchise & just got along so well.
The 2009 Pic; Possessiveness; but in a GOOD way, something like; if anyone were to say something bad about her,like that girl apparently did by calling her a b****h,”Loser”, he would DEF. stand up for her as he would back then, just in a more “shielding” way b/c they COULD be together now, you know?
I love her hand in his coat, you wouldn’t see that in 2008, unless he had something in his pocket that she was trying to reach; as she could be doing in the 2009 pic, but I doubt it.
It could be something else, or it could be just “subconscious closeness” on her part/both parts.

It is a little bit complicated to me. In the first one 08- they are light…open friendly….friend like.
In the newer one…. they are very intense… closed into one another… serious..
In the light of things recent, I can see how they would be more introverted– I wish them well.

2009-Robs open hand of course, they are also looking much more intimatly at one another, BOTH of Kristen’s hands are on Rob!

2008-Kristen looks kinda nervous

Things that are the same~Kristen is looking at Rob with admiration!

To me they look much more ackward in the 1st pic, now they are completely at home with one another!!

okay, i’m just about ready to head to bed so just gonna give a quick answer…although Rob’s arm is around Kris’ shoulder on both pictures, his hand is closed on the 1st one and open on the 2nd. guess it shows they’re more intimate this time around as compared to last year?? they look more like buddies on the 1st and on the 2nd, well…Robsten FTW!! ;p
