Robert Pattinson Admits to Fan He Was Nervous During the 2009 Oscars
In a private conversation with Nina Reyes, one of the winners of a Tokyo contest wherein six lucky Twilight fans got to have dinner with Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, she narrated a short conversation with the Twilight hottie about his 2009 Oscars experience.
I was able to say a few words to Robert, that is, “I just saw you [at] the Oscars awards last Sunday and now I can’t believe that I’m sitting right next to you,” and then [Rob] answered with a grin, “[Oh] really? You know, I was so nervous at that time.”
His state of nervousness was most probably the reason why Rob was uncharacteristically reticent and more subdued in his first public outing after his Twilight duties.
*sigh* I sorta missed the wacky laughing Rob at the 2009 Oscars, although, there is one picture that caught him looking more like the “fun” Rob with one of his familiar unrestrained expressions.
