Robert Pattinson Admits Forgetting the Twilight DVD Release Date

Robert Pattinson

In another moviefone interview, Rob inadvertently reveals that he totally forgot about the release date of the Twilight DVD on 21 March 2009.

“There was one quite weird thing, I was in a Blockbuster the other day, and I hadn’t realized it was the day the ['Twilight'] DVD was coming out, and there were these two — no one recognized me in that place — and there were these two 8-year-old girls who turned up with their parents. They were picking up their preordered DVDs, and they were just shaking and crying just because they got their DVD.

“I thought that was pretty incredible, I hadn’t seen anything like that before … I mean, I have when it’s in person, when it’s meeting me. But just to pick up a DVD, that was kind of crazy.”

Instead of attending any of the Twilight DVD release parties on the night of 20 March 2009, Rob chose to stay in Vancouver and support BFF Sam Bradley where he had a couple of concerts lined up.

Funny, sounds like him to forget. He is not caught up in all this fame, that’s good. I can’t believe no one recognized him at Blockbuster! Wow, those two girls would have gone insane if they happened to know Rob was in the store. Haha!
I don’t have the Twilight DVD yet and I want one.

Parents letting their 8 year old kids be wrapped up in the Twilight world? Gawd. This material is way too mature for little girls. The idea of a girl willing to do anything to be with the one she loves…i.e. become immortal or even dying. What is wrong with the world today?

Yeah, it’s sound silly. Twilight the movie was rated pg-13, and the little girl watched it and the parents gave the permit? Woaa
isabel, i have had twilight DVD and if you already buy it, you must see the special features. Catherine Hardwicke is a Terrific Director i’ve ever known! Special feature of the DVD made me shocked and couldn’t talk, just opened my mouth for 10 minutes. That was Crazy

Yeah I agree, 8 yrs old is a little young to be wrapped up in this Twilight stuff!
al- I’ll buy the DVD, sometime. My SO rented it and we watched it but I missed some scenes because I was on the internet. I really would love to see the entire movie w. no interruptions this time, and yeah gaze at the beauty of Edward Cullen :-) , I mean Robert.

Ok isabel, i guess you’ll get shocked when you’re watching it (spec. Feature) it was a lot of mature scenes. A little girl under 13 couldn’t see it even she with her parents!
