Robert Pattinson A No Show in All the Twilight DVD Release Parties
With hordes of fans in New York, Chicago, LA, Salt Lake City and Dallas as sources, Pattinson Online reports, “Rob did not attend any of the [Twilight] DVD release parties.”
In an Access Hollywood poll, Robert Pattinson was the overwhelming choice as the Twilight star people would most like to see in their DVD release party. The other picks were Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner.
Lainey earlier claimed that Rob has been in Vancouver since Sunday, 15 March 2009, after a Wal-Mart Headquarters appearance, “He arrived via private [plane] on Sunday [from Arkansas] and had more makeup testing to do – something wasn’t quite right last week so they brought him back to tweak. Since the schedule changed, they decided that while he’s in town, they could start training him [for stunts].”
There is speculation that Rob stayed in Vancouver to support his close friend, Sam Bradley, on his opening night, 20 March 2009, the first of a two-night gig in the city where New Moon will be filmed.
Sam Bradley is a singer and songwriter who co-wrote “Never Think” with Robert Pattinson, which was chosen by Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke to be part of the movie soundtrack.

im actually happy that him and kstew wasnt in the release party. I mean we all know what to expect on those parties (crazy screaming twihards, no offense meant as i am one myself, but its true) im just happy that wherever they are, that they are at least enjoying their little privacy before the new moon hype begins (or begun, whichever is more applicable)

Karen, I won’t be surprised that Rob actually did stay in Vancouver for Sam Bradley, because that would be so much in character for him.
As for Kristen, I think she should just lie low for now and recover from another “press incident.”
