Please Don’t Shout I Hate You to The Twilight Saga Baddies
Yes, he bares his fangs and attacks Bella Swan in New Moon, but, that doesn’t mean you can shout ‘I hate you!’ to him and the other Twilight Saga baddies (such as Rachelle Lefevre who plays Victoria and Edi Gathegi as Laurent).
Was it Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale) or Alex Meraz (Paul) who got the hate hurl? In this case, it was Alex Meraz who recounted the fan encounter to Marc Malkin of E!
“Someone started yelling at me because they didn’t like my character,” Meraz told us last night at a Carrera Vintage Sunglasses party at the Chateau Marmont hotel. “I play a bad boy, so she got mad at me. She said, ‘I hate you, Paul!’ That was the craziest thing for me—being confused for a character.”
Meraz’s response to the hater?…
“I yelled back at her, ‘I love you, too!’” he said.

Was it Rachelle Lafevre who said that when the fans got kind of mean with her, it meant that she portrayed Victoria just right?
Still, anyone asinine enough to shout hate at actors who portray fictional bad characters? You just have to consider the source.

Oh wow, that girl must have her realities mixed up! Hating someone for a character they play in a movie? Sad. I like his response though, that’s very big of him to say that.
