Diane Keaton’s Blow to the Head With the near brush with death of Robert Pattinson during a cab incident, it was with concern that I read in an E! report that Morning Glory star Diane Keaton was brought to the hospital after a fight scene in Battery Park in New York City on 29 June 2009 resulted with a blow to the head of the Academy Award winning actress.

Diane Keaton was later released from the hospital with an official statement from Paramount Studios.

“Diane Keaton is in good health and spirits following a fall on set of Morning Glory where she bumped her head. The actress was taken to a hospital for precautionary tests and has been cleared by doctors to return to work tomorrow.”

Angelina Jolie with Head Injury Salt star Angelina Jolie was also injured on the Salt set in New York, and was escorted to the hospital immediately before being released to resume shooting. The official statement was:

“This morning while filming an action sequence… Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed.”

Nicolas Cage and the Car Accidents The film of Academy Award winner Nicolas Cage, The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, suffered the most number of incidents with one on set car accident, and a second bizarre car mishap. Entertainment Weekly reports.

Nine people — including some crew members of the Nicolas Cage movie The Sorcerer’s Apprentice — suffered minor injuries early this morning as a result of a car accident near the film’s Times Square set, according to the AP. The driver of an SUV unrelated to the production said that she collided with a parked car while attempting to steer clear of a taxi, sending both vehicles onto the sidewalk, where crew members were sitting. The victims were taken to the hospital, and police are investigating the incident.

This was actually the second accident this week involving The Sorcerer’s Apprentice: On Monday, two people were treated for minor injuries after a Ferrari crashed during a chase scene.
