Here are the samples from the New Moon soundtrack. With the exception of the Muse remix, all the songs were created specifically for the movie. New Moon director Chris Weitz commented before the track list got finalized.
“I am surprised by some of the bands that have said they are interested. It’s kind of great. The criteria will still be what’s right for the movie at that given moment.”

Those songs s—k! Well not the songs but they do for this soundtrack. When I read the books or even see parts of this movie I think sadness and madness and stuff. Way too peppy! Get Evanescence-My immortel on there or something. Bla!

Not very happy with soundtrack. One of the reasons I think Twilight clicked was because the soundtrack fit the scenes exactly and sounded young and hip. The songs in the New Moon soundtrack sounded old.

This isn’t music, it is just really bad noise with the exception of “The Meadow”. Horrendous and disappointing to say the least. :>(

I have to say there was many songs that i dodn’t like. But i liked Muse and the Meadow song.

I think there’s a part of me that knew i would be disappointed to hear NM’s soundtrack and i’m sad to admit it but i think it kinda…s*ck:’(I like Muse but for the rest…Maybe i’ll change my mind after i saw the movie but i think Twilight had the best soundtrack ever!
