New Moon Premieres on a New Moon Phase

Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner have already arrived in LA from their European tour promoting New Moon. Twilight fans are already camped out for the LA premiere of New Moon
The Twilight Saga: New Moon will take place Monday, Nov. 16 at Mann’s Village Theatre, 961 Broxton Avenue, in Westwood Village. The entire cast is expected to be on hand and arrivals are likely to start between 5 PM and 6:30 PM. The city has also issued permits for the New Moon Premiere Party at Lindbrook Dr and Glendon Ave, also in Westwood Village, for Nov. 16 beginning at 9:00 P.M
And, while all these is happening, I’m reminded that the premiere is also happening under the dark watchful gaze of a new moon phase.
On November 16th, the stars of The Twilight Saga: New Moon will line up in Los Angeles for the official premiere of the film.
The heavens, it seems, will also be lining up on that date as well. One Twitterer made an interesting connection between the date of New Moon’s official premiere and the lunar calendar.
November 16th will also be the date of a legitimate new moon according to the lunar phase calendar.
