Missing Robert Pattinson in Rome

Although Robert Pattinson was clearly NOT scheduled to be in the 4th International Rome Film Festival, when one sees a row of New Moon bloodsuckers such as Volturi vampires Charlie Bewley, Cameron Bright and Jamie Campbell Bower, one can’t help expecting to see the tousle haired Twilight Saga heartthrob Robert Pattinson *sigh*
Nevertheless, it’s heartwarming to see that the other actors seem to get on very well in this 22 October 2009 photo call image taken at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome Italy. Charlie Bewley, Cameron Bright and Jamie Campbell Bower presented a preview of The Twilight Saga : New Moon to a very appreciative crowd.

My feeling about that is….. I am really not pleased with the way that Summit has let the New Moon publicity go down. I love the Volturi, Jacob and the gang as much as the next girl…. But, lets face it…..its ALL about Edward and Bella. and I really don’t feel they’ve respected that in the fans. Am I the only one who feels this way?

MelissaInMissouri, you are not alone. For sometime i had the felling that Summit treatmeant of the whole New Moon publicity is just wrong. They basically think we are dumb or we haven’t read the books -and i mean the FOUR books, more than once in many cases- and they are trying to put the Bella/Jacob way too up front, when we know thats just a part of the Bella/Edward Forever story.

Has more time to spend quality time with his friend, family, loved ones? And who knows maybe he’ll come out writing some more beautiful songs.

As much as I would love to agree with MelissaInMissouri, but I agree with mayhemonte. This is all about Rob so I’m happy his got his rest and everything even though we’re not seeing enough of him. I love him to bits and is happy that he’s happy.

But isn’t New Moon mostly about Bella and Jacob? It wouldn’t make much sense for them to push a lot more Edward and go off plot. I think what they have done wrong, is not made enough noise for the supporting characters. Like Jane, for example. Where is Dakota Fanning?

@MelissaInMissouri new moon isn’t about bella and edwad. it’s about bella and jacob! i agree with muthoni summit shoud promote the pack and the volturi becuse new moon is the intro to them.

I am fully aware of the characters each book features. Ive read them several times each. The SERIES is all about Edward and Bella and I personally am not a fan of Summits marketing, just an opinion- didn’t mean to offend anyone!
