Miley Cyrus Is Not A Huge Robert Pattinson Fan

In the Teen Vogue May 2009 issue, Miley Cyrus discloses what she thinks of Robert Pattinson
“I’m not a huge Rob Pattinson fan. Girls aren’t really in love with Rob; they’re in love with Edward.”
Although it may be true for some girls, I daresay there’s a huge chunk of the Robert Pattinson fan base who likes Rob for himself, whether he plays Edward Cullen or not.
There can only be one explanation for the statement of Miley Cyrus.
Miley Cyrus has NEVER SEEN a Robert Pattinson interview. I mean, once you hear his self-deprecating humor, honesty, wit and charm… Like, you’re a goner… Even Ryan Reynolds, who has never met Rob, thinks he’s “dreamy.” 
Okay, let’s help Miley Cyrus out. How about thinking hard about your favorite Robert Pattinson interview, and then leave a link to it in the comment box? That way, just in case she gets curious, there’s a whole slew of videos to choose from. And, really, this would be a pretty great excuse to pore over some funny Rob vids.
Personally, I’ve always liked his MTV interview where he says:
“I haven’t kissed anybody in ages.” (Go to 2:41)
“It’s funny. You would have thought, like, doing this movie where you’re supposed to be such an attractive guy, or whatever, would open up the floodgates… But, it has, like, the kind of converse effect. ‘Cause everyone’s, like, ‘Oh, everyone must be throwing themselves at you.’ Throw yourselves at me!” (Go to 3:09)

Only one question: Who is this girl? Because I don’t know who she is? Why she is famous? I know she is a “celeb” but why? And I have read in another article that “one reality star” (sorry, I don’t remember her name…) in the US said she didn’t like Twilight (and RP), because there was a bad acting in that film. It was weird… like this…

Hi Vic01. Welcome to the teen and tween world (Twilight markets) where Miley Cyrus is one of the princesses. She is mostly known for her Disney hit show, Hannah Montana, which has spawned a recording career. She’s a songwriter and composer as well. All at the tender age of 16.
Aside from her creativity, I respect her energy, professionalism and for surviving a large amount of controversy in the last couple of years.
From her interviews, you can tell she’s a pro but level-headed, so I’m a bit surprised she didn’t find Rob appealing, because they both have a great sense of humor. Different but funny.

You are totally right!!! We are totally Rob Pattinson fans!!!! I personally love Rob for himself not because of Edward. Robert is a real human being and Edward is not!!! Besides, Rob is totally a unique individual. There is no one like him at all!!! He is sooo charming and cute and handsome and helpless all at the same time. I like his realness and how he tries to be himself and not the vain actor type. That is why I am a Rob Pattinson fan always!!!!!!

hmmm, don’t know about level headed part.
She does have an accolade of professional pr & media people, including her father and mother.
What she is a well-coached celebrity.
Because she is a girl (and 16), she had the upper hand here. If a boy celeb (or Robert Pattinson for that matter) would have commented: Miley Cyrus? The Hannah Montana girl, nah@ she’s not hot at all; they would have been branded very uncool, not a gentleman and sissy-ish. So Miley Cyrus has the upperhand here. But easy going Robert would have never noticed anyway probably. He never really did try to be sexy off screen—always in rags. But that is the amazing part—he is in rags and he is still sexy.

That said, my favorite Rob interview is one that he did on-sight while they were still filming Twilight (it was at dusk, he was in a navy coat with fur trim), followed by the magazine one (he was sooo tired during this one, but he was focused, and I liked the questions/answers). I thought he sounded really intelligent and fun in each of these (it bugs me when he gets all giggly and puts himself down–I just want to tell him ENOUGH already). I don’t have links or names.
Really narrows it down, right? Well, if I come across them, I’ll share the links. I’d track them down tonight, but that would require EFFORT and I don’t wanna expend any right now…I’m tired, I wanna play.

And, now that I’m thinking about it, Rob and Miley can totally connect on the musical level because they both love music, and they’re both lyricists, composers, and play the guitar as well.

Yeah, I think you’re right about that–music connection, definitely. I think it’d be hard not to like Robert Pattinson, though. So while someone like Miley might not be a “actor” fan of his, that doesn’t mean she couldn’t meet him and not like him. Totally don’t see that happening.
I can’t believe I’m awake and here again! I blame it on you for posting that entry about how Rob recorded the Let Me Sign song for the movie. (Dang it!) I love, love, loved that song.

Darn, I typed a long reply and it dissapeared. So here goes again. My fave interview is when he was interviewed by Ryan Seacrest last yr. I also like the one when he was talking about proposing to Kristen (the one where he was interviewed by an African-American girl). I think maybe there’s a few of them that are similar. Anyway, I could tell that girl was so smitten by him. He smiled so much and during the interview his mum called. I have to search for it and I’ll post it here if I can find it.
As far as Miley, I think if she got to know Robert personally that she might change her mind about him.
. It’s true that in the movie, Robert was so polished. True to Edward Cullen’s character, Robert had to look flawless, without a hair out of place. But in real life, he is more “earthy” for a lack of a better word. I’m not sure if those rumors about him not washing his hair is true though. LOL. Regardless, I still think he is talented and exceptionally gorgeous(and sweet too).

I could tell Miley that she doesn’t need to give her opinion about twilight fans since she said she is not a fan of him. first of all we love ROB PATTINSON aka EDWARD CULLEN everyone knows that Edward only exist in the book and Rob exist in the real world

If this is true, I think it’s unnecessary for Miley to express bluntly her opinion of “not a fan” of Rob. Even if she’s just telling the truth, it’s NOT nice to hear it from anyone famous like her. I’m sure her fans would not also be happy hearing the same sentiment from anyone famous. As a professional artist, she should know how to divert politely her answers in any subject or choose to shut up. But obviously, she chose none. Hey Miley, aren’t you getting enough attention? Maybe she thinks that she’s so popular enough that it would not damage her reputation in any way.

Hey, Im a huge fan of Rob too from Philippines. Love love love Rob Pattinson. He’s so exceptionally good at everything. I love reading and watching all his interviews. He’s very intelligent and lots of humor.

the only reason she dosent like him is because hes not tan, hasnt got a six pack, hasnt got an LA smile, hasnt blonde hair & because he got famous on his own without a disney channel contract lol
