Michael Sheen in a Robsten Like Love Triangle

Seeing Kate Beckinsale with her daughter Lily Sheen at the Everybody’s Fine New York premiere at AMC Lincoln Square in New York City on 03 December 2009 reminded me of her former romantic relationship with Michael Sheen. Their history is akin to the Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Michael Angarano scenario, but, with much more drama and pathos.
Michael Angarano had the wisdom to refuse the role that Catherine Hardwicke offered him in Twilight, subsequently avoiding what could have been a very painful and awkward situation wherein he has to work alongside former girlfriend Kristen Stewart and present boyfriend Robert Pattinson as The Twilight Saga continued filming with New Moon and Eclipse
Michael Sheen did not have that luxury and had to be at his utmost professional demeanor as he acted the smitten passionate lover onscreen to his former real life lover, Kate Beckinsale, while her new lover, Len Wiseman, directed the two of them. Wikipedia describes the difficult scenario.
Sheen and English actress Kate Beckinsale have a daughter, Lily Mo Sheen, born 31 January 1999. Their seven-year relationship ended when, during the filming of Underworld (in which they both starred), Beckinsale left him for the film’s director, Len Wiseman, whom she then married.
Although he did not appear in the 2006 sequel Underworld: Evolution, other than in flashbacks to the first film, Sheen had a prominent role in the prequel Underworld 3: The Rise Of The Lycans, which Wiseman produced but did not write or direct, and in which Beckinsale does not appear.
Sheen lived for a time in the United States with Beckinsale, but since their relationship ended, he now splits his time between United Kingdom and Los Angeles co-parenting their daughter.
Undoubtedly, Michael Sheen is a wonderful man, father and human being who has focused on what’s important in life.

Wow. . . i didn’t know he got a role. . . but im glad that he didn’t get it thought. No offence to anyone,, but i just don’t think he would of been good for that role.

I’m glad it did not push through, or Robsten will not have existed with MA around with KS 24/7 guarding his gem like a hawk.

Lol MA as Mike Newton? Talk about awkward and weird. He wouldn’t be good for the role anyway..I can’t imagine him as Mike. And yeah, there wouldn’t be a Robsten if he got the role.
I kinda feel bad for Michael Sheen. Seven-year relationship ended ‘coz of another man. And they have a daughter too. This isn’t like Robsten and MA’s relationship..it’s way more complicated than that.

CH said Rob before that he’ll get the role when he promises not try to get Kristen because her boyfriend MA was a closes friend of CH.
@Lala: at least 3 and Mike(Michael)Sheen lost his Kate. You’re right this much more complicated than Robsten and MA. It seems named Mike didn’t have luck.

yes, that’s just drama on set. but, i don’t like MA too much, mike welch is very talented playing mike characters.
kate beckinsale is very gorgeous and too bad she has to ending her love life with sheen. if not they were one of the hottest and the talented couple in the world.
