In general, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart together photos are scarce during press conferences and events. They come very few and far in between.
In all the New Moon public appearances, the blocking will usually have Taylor Lautner in between the Twilight pair. Understandably so, the Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner or the Bella Swan and Jacob Black tandem is the focal point of both the film and book.
And, the 2009 Teens Choice Awards on 09 August 2009 is no different. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart arrived separately on the red carpet. Observers noted that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart were only seated together at one point during the show. Robert Pattinson was usually absent during the one on one interviews.
No wonder someone wonderful took it upon himself to put them together in a manipulated photo. The images below are most probably the basis of the manip photo, although the Robert Pattinson pic was probably from another angle.

Summit is trying too hard. No matter how much they make Kristen act excessively playful with Taylor, they fail to recognize that we see through their false bravado. Any romantic chemistry only resides in Rob and Kristen’s relationship.

Wish Summit could of just backed off for this event, Robsten didn’t even get to sit next to each other most of the time, Taylor would always have to be between them. But its so cute they would talk over taylor like he isn’t even between them.

but yeah.. i totally agree with u. they try soo hard to separate them for the sake of the film.
like they wont know that it will be a very huge hit? they have no idea that its bcoz of robsten’s great chemistry together on and off screen and that they are soo on now, that people will definitely watch it.
good thing robsten know better right? they’re not letting it get to them. i hope they continue that kind of attitude.

so well put together. thought it was real. you know, i was watching interviews with kristen and the rest of the cast, and she seems to be way less awkward. maybe RPatzz soothed her
