Kristen Stewart Saves Robert Pattinson from Miffed Fans
Access Hollywood reports that Canadian Mountie Constables Brendon Baillant gives full credit to the Twilight heroine for saving the day from miffed fans.
“[Our] remit was to keep the fans off the set. Everything went well on the first day but then a group of teenage girls got a little too close when the filming moved to the Long Beach area of the island. They were totally miffed with us when we told them that they could not get any closer, however, their spirits lifted when Kristen Stewart came over to pose for a few photographs with them.”
I’m guessing that Kristen Stewart saw the situation developing from afar and took it upon herself to do some damage control before the situation could escalate. Good job, Kristen! The Canadian Mounties need all the help that they can get. They have their hands full from protecting Robert Pattinson while filming in Vancouver. (Okay, there was no indication that Rob was there, and I doubt he is because they’re shooting at the beach, so that implies Jacob and Bella scenes at La Push, but, if he had been there…)
And, Twilighters, please remember that there are New Moon sequences that need to be finished each day so that the film will be ready for its 20 November 2009 opening.
I’m sure Summit Entertainment will appreciate your cooperation. Please do so because they do have the option of closing the set completely to fans. I’m sure they don’t want to, but, they will if they have to. So, please cooperate. I’m sure the New Moon cast will be accommodating the fans when they have little breaks in between takes.

isn’t their a zoom on their cameras? lol worship from afar, please! I love Rob and Kristen, but i know they want to have some boundaries, and i don’t blame them!

I’m pretty sure some more fans will be there in the next days because of Spring Break.
From now on Rob and Kristen have to deal with their fame.
I’ve read there are two Constables assigned for more protection in the set, Brendon Vailant and Brandon Bulziuk in Long Beach inside the Pacific Rim National Park.
Still cold and wet but the place is very beautiful and peaceful.
