The Showbiz Spy Quote Showbiz Spy reports on 31 July 2009 that Top of the Pops has The Twilight Saga star Kristen Stewart revealing her status.
“We went through a lot together, so we feel very close. I’ve acquired a good buddy and that’s a big deal, but I haven’t left my boyfriend for Robert Pattinson!”
The Nylon Magazine Interview Quote Yes, Kristen Stewart did say all these things, in different interviews from 2008 to early 2009. Let’s break down the Showbiz Spy quote into sentences, and then compare them with the corresponding interviews, starting with the one for the March 2009 issue of Nylon magazine.
Showbiz Spy:
“We went through a lot together, so we feel very close.”
Nylon Magazine:
“We went through a lot together, so we feel very close.”
The 2008 MTV Movie Awards Interview Quote When the MTV reporter prodded Kristen Stewart whether she can reconsider and change her mind about the marriage proposal of Robert Pattinson, (FYI, Kristen’s boyfriend, Michael Angarano, is behind them, just a little bit to the side), Kristen replies with the friendship card.
Showbiz Spy:
“I’ve acquired a good buddy and that’s a big deal.”
MTV Interview:
“Oh no, man, I have acquired, like, a good buddy, and that’s a big deal.” (Go to 0:51)

The Adelaide Now Interview Quote In a 10 December 2008 interview for Australian Adelaide Now, Pete Hellard managed the monumental task of making Kristen Stewart reveal something about her personal life.
Showbiz Spy:
“I haven’t left my boyfriend for Robert Pattinson!”
Adelaide Now Interview:
“We were fine. I have not left my boyfriend for Robert Pattinson.”

The Implication Since the Showbiz Spy cum Top of the Pops quote is just a rehash of past interviews, then, it can be dismissed as pure nonsense.
And, as Gozde of ROBsessed, a blog addicted and devoted to Robert Pattinson, pointed out, “Kristen Stewart doesn’t deny dating Robert Pattinson,” and, in an ironic turn of events, even stated that “Angarano hasn’t been seen with Kristen since April 27th, he is okay, he did not really disappear 
)”
I’m Surprised at Myself May I just say that I amaze myself sometimes? The first two sentences were very familiar so they weren’t much of a problem.
But the third… The third sentence was a niggling memory. I remembered reading Kristen saying it somewhere. Somehow, I recalled it was an Australian publication, and, a search for ‘Kristen Stewart Australia’ produced the Adelaide Now interview.
And, this is from a person who forgets where she left her keys, her passport (Oh, please appear real soon!), etc. LOL

Thanks for making that clear Lorna.Although I didn’t believe that crap at the first place because the sentences were familiar. But a lot of people who were not crazy twilighters enough to watch Rob and kristen’s interviews multiple times to have their quotes memorised like me(LOL)have been confused and hurt by this load of crap.
Now they can be reassured that that Robsten is SO on.

LOL to: passport (Oh, please appear real soon!). I know exactly what you mean lorna. Is it what’s called “selective memory”? I forget where I left things too (keys are a favorite) but my memory is marvelously stubborn with other stuff, like Robsten bits.
With regards to these rehashed news, fans should just disregard gossip mags with no credibility. They’re just riding on the fame of R/K. What a disgrace to journalism right? So do not break a sweat fellow shippers, there’s a reason why they’re called rag mags.

I so agree with all of you! Besides, didn’t you notice how Rob and Kristen didn’t answer any personal questions at Comic Con? (They weren’t allowed to, I think??). So, logically, why would Kristen suddenly answer a personal question during a mag interview?

Omg i just don’t belive what magazine published anymore. I just hope the’re together,besides Kristen and micheal haven’t been together in public since i don’t know when….she problably just broke up with him….i just hope she just did it so she can be with rob!!

WOW!! Excellent research Lorna! These rags and blogs should take lessons from you on how to actually be journalists.
I suggest we all hang in there – as more than likely this stuff is just the tip of the ice berg (in terms of people effing w/ Robsten and spreading lies). As a longtime Brangelina fan, I can assure you that for whatever reason the stupid blogs and rags (in an effort to NOT generate revenue and hits) love to attack couples in love.
Why do you think despite having a solid happy loved-up union that’s truly one of Hollywood’s great love stories, Brad & Angie have these fictional accounts on the status of their union written constantly (brad has been walking out and taking the kids for going on 5 years now, lol…not to mention trying to ‘get Jen back.’ shyeah riiiiiight. lol )
It seems when it comes to a desirable male (be it Brad or Rob) there’s this need by the rags and the blogosphere to attack and dismiss the woman they love above all else. My guess is, that the most rational explanation of this pathology is that there are envious jealous females behind the scenes in the tabloid and gossip industries who simply do not like seeing one woman (be it Kris or Angie), have it all (namely a gorgeous man we all want and a fabulous life and career)
Their response is to attack, demean and lie about the relationship.
I see it happening with the way they treat kris and the robsten relationship already. they want to chip away at it right out of the box.
I hope that robsten takes a page out of the brangelina book and pays the rags no mind, and lives their lives to the fullest, enjoying each other. If my suspicions are correct, they are young and in love and don’t deserve to have the silly ‘bloids lies and mistruths even come close to complicating their relationship. the rags are soooo not worth it.
U think the rags and gossips would have an epiphany and say, ‘hey, let me try something new like APPEALING TO THE FANDOM’ -instead of the haters to rake in the cash…. but they’re not that smart.

That is some truth right there.
It really ticks me off a) how the media relentlessly harasses Robsten and b) how vicious some so-called fans are towards Kristen (simply because she has the audacity to be the person Rob cares about). I hope Robsten never “officially” confirms their relationship until after the Twilight saga is finished. Anyone with eyes can see the truth anyway.
It also irks me that Robsten are in a different place than Brangelina. They were a bit older and more mature at the start of their relationship. Robsten is younger and a little newer to this game. Kris has a family in the biz, so that is a plus, but still. I just hope they weather this media storm and stay united. They deserve some happiness. They are both truly special individuals.

I am from England and read Top of the Pops magazine every month and I always recognise what they said. I think that magazine just uses other interviews. I realised that quite a long time ago now, it also uses pictures from other magazines too. Its a bit late though.

If you look at Adelaide article, it was published in 2008!! A year ago! This is the second time I’ve read something similar to this article about Kristen saying that. A year ago people, keep your news up to date.

thanks you for founf out this is bs not a new interviwe. Mike now has not been seen with in 4 mouths. I am happy her rob o think will be with eachother all the time in about 2 weeks. No cast member has said mike name yet. i rmber thaem always saying no she has a boyfriend youdon’t hear that anymore.

Well, looks like this movement to bury Robsten [allegedly] by summit or whoever is planting these old interviews and calling them ‘new’ is now doing the same thing only using an old interview of Rob’s – it’s running on OK.uk (the UK OK mag site) Hollywoodgossip.com has reported it, but then they wrote an addendum saying the fans had clocked it a an old interview from Rob..the site blames OK mag site (uk version) for what the posted -saying they are calling it new by adding comic con pics and posting it as if Rob just recently said this. I’d post the link but am on my phone doing this. just go to ok mag (uk), coverawards.com, or hollywoodgossip.com.
What he says when asked, ‘is it true you took the part in twilight because of your crush on kristen stewart?’ Rob says: ‘of course!. No we’re really just good friends’ reads funny doesn’t it? anyway, they are using this quote to now say Rob is denying a relationship.
as soon as I read it I knew it was old, because he says nothing about RM and his current filming in NYC, even MORE obvious? he doesn’t even talk New Moon (LOL). it’s just older sounding twilight stuff. he makes that girls will date ‘axe murderers’ comment too.
